There's stark evidence of him getting knocked on his bum and stunned by washed up featherweights and journeymen who I'd say hit a hell of a lot less hard than someone like Pacquiao who has destroyed better fighters than Hamed all the way up to welterweight. Impossible to see a midget goat fancier turning the trick on Manny when much, much, much better fighters like De La Hoya, Barrera (and we have graphic proof of how much better Barrera was than Naz), Mosley, Morales, Cotto and Bradley couldn't do it. Hell it even took Marquez until the 4th fight to get a win over Pacquiao and he was dubiously muscled (unless you buy his newly middle aged acne) and was on the brink of being stopped himself in a war before Manny walked into that perfectly timed shot. Again Marquez is much better than Hamed and only a fighter as skilled as a Marquez and familiar with Pacquiao's style (two things that Hamed isn't) would've landed that. Face it. Hamed for all his hype was exposed by Barrera in his only fight against an elite, prime talent. The same Barrera who Pacquiao absolutely annihilated. Really unless you're from the UK or a Hamed family member you wouldn't seriously give Hamed a chance at all because the evidence is blatantly obvious as to who the superior fighter is and it isn't a close run thing either.
I watched Hamed his whole career, (being British). Even in those earlier days, he was never better than a Herol Graham clone that he wanted to be. Yes, he was hard to hit - against that level of opponent he was fighting. Someone as brilliant as Pacquiao would have knocked him out.
You just keep playing with yourself whilst looking at the pics you have of KTFO - 6 Paci-ow on your bedroom wall, idiot.
I'm not remotely interested in Paci-ow getting in with a skeletal DLH, or anything else he did above Featherweight. He lost to a semi shot Morales, he was KTFO by 2 guys not fit to lace Hameds boots, and everyone who decked Hamed was stopped later in the fight. As for Barrera out boxing Hamed, that has no bearing on a fight with Paci-ow. Barrera was also out boxed by Marquez who in turn NEVER looked like being out boxed by Paci-ow, so that means sh it. This thread is about them fighting at Feather, and even Paci- ow's most moronic fans understand he could be hit and hurt at that weight, and he NEVER faced anyone with Hamed's power at 122 - 126.
why would you even respond to someone who used the phrase goat fancier? let pieces of shiit be lonely pieces of shiit.
Level of opponent has a lot to do with it true, but there's no doubt that after his profile rose, Hamed began to change his style and started to look for one punch KOs as opposed to boxing cute and letting quick combinations go. It was noticeable that in the Kelley fight, the first time he really hurt Kelley was from a 3 punch combo rather than a crazy uppercut from the knees. Like so many fighters before and since he became power-happy. Had he stuck with his original style he would have been far more effective, as well as staying at 118 or 122. He was too short really for 126 IMO. I'm not saying that Hamed definitely beats Pac at 122, but he does have a good shot if he fights as he did in his bantamweight days. He is one of the hardest hitting bantamweights of all time and he could get cause Pac a lot of problems with his power and slipperiness, assuming he boxes and doesn't try for silly one punch KOs.
Just using the same derogatory terminology that Foxy01 deals with routinely. But I suppose because you're British referring to your inferiors as such is classed as being witty and edgy isn't it Mr Clarkson? Gotcha.
Manny was never kod at 122 or 126. He was kod twice at Flyweight, once when he was having trouble making weight and had already forfeited his title on the scales, and another time when he took an opponent's shoulder to the chin. Also, I do not think Morales was semi-shot in '05. Barrera had pretty good power at 122-126. Maybe not the same single shot power as Hamed, but he certainly could hurt an opponent with volume punching.
I guess Pac is not a good topic even in the Classic. Haters do follow. Any idea why this fight did not happen. I remember Pac wanting this fight before he fought Barrera.
Hamed boasts a bit more power and arguably a slightly better chin. Apart from that I can't see why we should even consider Naseem could win this fight. He has an outside chance at best
