Pac-Hatton is more exciting and bigger.

And Campbell isn't the man at 135. That's Casamayor.

Campbell has 3 of the 4 belts and Casamayor was offered a 50/50 split and turned it down. Add that to Casa getting a corrupt decision against Santa Cruz and we have a situation where Campbell is the man to beat at LWW

I'd be fine with Pac fighting any of these guys:

    Casamayor / Marquez winner
    Guzman / Campbell winnner
    Hatton

I consider that Casa is Lineal at 135 and that his resume is better overall. Campbell was lucky to beat Diaz and will probably lose his next big fight.

if Casa is so much better then he should have easily taken the big payday and picked up all those belts.

The Campbell/Guzman winner is a must for Pacquaio and an exciting prospective fight to begin with that would deliver because all of these guys are very fast, have the warrior mentality(even Guzman, he'll throw down at times)and you've got P4P level ability in all of them.

It's always a shame when things are dominated by big name fighters, whom are not necessarily close to being whats needed.

But I am glad you want to see Pac vs. Campbell/Guzman, that is the right fight for Pac next and Campbell/Guzman winner certainly deserve the shot.

Good read and I agree. The Pac/Hatton fight is a useless fight . . . it's a simple money fight.

It's only natural for Team Pacquaio to be wanting more money. But me as a fan . . . I want a real action fight to establish Pac's position at 135.

Pac should fight Campbell first before fighting Hatton.

Hattons the man at 140; especially after beating no1 contender Maliginagi

In an ideal world pac should have a few more fights at 135, but Hatton will probably be retired by then.

Pac should do what he always does, wait for his body to grow to move up and not force it. Only problem is time is running out on Hatton, same age as Pac but he will be retiring far sooner. A fight with Hatton next year makes sense, though I wouldnt complain at all if Pac takes Hatton now. Its history and defiance of odds.

I totally agree. I would prefer Pac take a few fights, and he very well may. But if Pac vs. Hatton was made over Hatton vs. Paulie, I wouldn't mind.

I love Pac but there no way he's the man in the divison. That belongs to Campell/Casamayor.

I disagree. Beating Hatton would instantly establish Pac as "the man and champion of 140lb", which surely is better than being "the man" of 135 in terms of legacy? My only harp is, why cant he do both? :)

Besides this is only for one fight. Pac will not gain any weight, he dont need to, he just wont have to drain weight as much. Straight after he will drop back to 135 and finish business.

Its crazy how Guzman is going to be put in the position to "be the man" at 135... He will finally be in the position he deserves to be put in.

I don't really care what he does first. Pacquiao will be able to flip flop between 140 and 135 lbs back and forth without a problem. He will probably weigh in if he did fight Hatton at like 137lbs. There really is not much of a difference.
