Pacquiao vs. Hatton in LV - makes no sense. But Dubai? WTF?

A Wembley fight would have been huge worldwide, but absolutely mega in England. And it would have got just as much money as it would in Las Vegas, possibly even more.

I'd love for it to be at Wembley or something, to see the poms silenced by Manny's straight left hand.

i really dont care where it's held as long as its in a location which enables both fighters to earn the most.

Please tell me why Hatton should enjoy the home town advantage......clearly Pac is the show here and Hatton is in a very enviable position getting the oppurtunity to again cash in because he is in the right place at the right time. So the Brits have to get up at 4am, no point of reference there for me or anyone else in the free world. Pac is in position to dictate terms why shouldnt he at the very least pick nuetral turf. I dont want a Lucian Butte scenario or the things Kostya Tzsyu had to endure there for Manny. lets make it MSG or Vegas.

They should hold the event in Iraq, seeing how its so stable now, anyway do you really think they want Fatton to lose in front of his home town? better to have as few fans watching as possible when he eats the big one.

Better for them to meet in middle ground. No upper edge for either fighter.

I think that what happened to Hagler still sits in the back of some of these fighters minds. And who can blame them rilly? As much as your makin' sense here, or that I can see your rational anyway, they don't exactly have the best behavior rep. over in England.

I know that many fans dont want to hear it but boxing money is made in the States, and if you want to become a huge star and make money you have to fight in the States. And While its true that there would be much bigger fan turnout were the fight to be held in the UK or Asia the truth is the money can be made in the States...Pac and Hatton both want to become stars in the States its not going to help that if they have the fight in their own backyards....

So if not Las Vegas then where? The Philippines? The UK? Rember this is a mega-fight involving perhaps the two biggest names in the sport today. Is it fair is it best for a fight of this magnatude to be fought in either boxer's back yard? The fight should take place somewhere that is as nurtural as possible. Las Vegas is as good a place as any for this bout.
