Pacquiao VS Hatton under negotiation!!- Pac

Now things are beginning to get interesting. If Pac beats Hatton he will break into a whole new level imo.

Right now he is pretty much sure to get HOF. He is however still a long way away from ATG. There is really noone of the ones he has met or the other mexicans around there that could boost him closer to ATG. Hatton is imo. far the best chance of getting closer to ATG..

 

he already did in a very close rematch. and if not for a scoring error in the first fight, it would have been also a win for him. i know you'll surely say otherwise but those are the facts. and you just have to live with it.

 

Hatton will stop Manny. Already gave the analysis in other threads, and my opinions haven't changed.

 

Manny is faster and seems to be getting more powerful.

He may actually look like a skilled fighter the further he goes up - because he will get a speed advantage. I would put my money on Pac I think.

 

Wow.. Pac is truly FEARLESS.. One tough competition after another. Hope they will get a good ref on this one.

 

manny is surely the big underdog here... it's been a long time since he has fought as one. but he fights great when he is one. just look what happened in the sasakul, ledwaba and barrera 1 fights.... i give pac a decent chance here.

 

If he did to Juan Diaz or Cassamayor what he did to David Diaz, I would think twice. But I am very comfortable with going with Hatton, its the logical choice given my experience watching boxing.

 

Exciting fight if it comes through. Although I favour hatton for obviouse reasons, he is not at his peak and roach is a very smart coach and could see something in hatton that he thinks manny can expose. If manny can deal with the weight gain and keep ricky at the end of his punches, he may be able to win a decision.

I thought manny was scheduled to fight valero?

My worrie is that Hatton get John Ruized against the faster PAcquiao. But Hatton's no John Ruiz and Manny's no Roy Jones so we'll have to see.

 

A little earlier than I would've liked since I wanted both fighters to take care of other fights first, but I'll gladly watch it in November. Cuts are going to be a big X factor in this fight- Hatton cuts easily, and Manny has a knack for causing them. Should be a hell of a fight!

No I think it will be difficult for most people to get over the percieved size difference. So no matter how good Pacquiao looked he'll still come in the underdog. Also he will likely not have had a prior fight 140 lb before he gets in the ring with Hatton. And he'll at most of had 2 or three fights at 135 lb (and possibly only one). Most people are conservative so I can see the bookies making Hatton the underdog.
