Pacquiao VS Hatton under negotiation!!- Pac

if ever hatton and pac would face in the ring, here are my initial thoughts

hatton: he should watch out for attempts by pac to knock him out especially in the early rounds.. the key for hatton is to wear pac out.. and try to come out strong in the later rounds where pac is tired..

pac: pac should attempt an early KO because as the fight progresses, it would be dangerous for pac.. key for pac is stamina and speed.. pac should keep the stamina and speed up to the later rounds..


my prediction: split decision for hatton..

I think that if there were a 135lb'er that was top five with a style similar to Hatton, a fight would be made for the WBC title, almost as a tune up fight.

Trouble is - there aren't any!

 

I'm a Hatton fan, but I fear this fight due to Hatton's recent punch resistance problems. Hope Hatton decides to get away from the pub and fried foods and trains his ass off, if he dosen't then it maybe turnbuckle time again. Manny would be my favourite at this time, Hatton must take this fight more serious then any other....because if he loses this one he will be finished as an elite fighter.

 

i now firmly believe that pac can take hatton based on what he showed to david. his speed is still there, despite weighing 145 at fight night.
but he can also make history by winning 4 world titles in 1 division tying up with b-hop... if he battles nate who currently has 3 titles tucked under his belt, given if he still wins against guz.
although i can agree with pac-hatton, but nate is history in the making for pac too..hatton can wait too,right?

Pac would get in around 145-147, whilst Hatton would be at least 7lbs heavier!!

 

Pac is great no doubt but Hatton will have to much for Pac to big to strong. The big question is how is pac going to react when hattons body shots conecting. We all know Pac is quick but I dont think he can run from Hatton all night .I dont think he will come off best trying to meet Hatton head on. I see this ending by late stopage to Hatton but this is going to be a great fight

 

I doubt it, in britain Hatton wuld be a heavy favourite amongst the brits. In vegas, fight week and when the british starts coming in thousands, Hatton will be favourite again. What a crowd it will be, the 2 most supportive fans in boxing!

 

Yeah because David Diaz is a great example of Ricky Hatton's style of fighting!

You seem to be forgetting that all the guys you have mentioned are naturally the same size - Ricky is bigger!

How you can say JMM lost lopsided twice is beyond me - you need to watch the fights again!

 

What happens to the proposed Hatton-Maglinaggi fight?
