Pacquiao VS Hatton under negotiation!!- Pac

I'd really like for Manny to get himself settled in the Lightweight division. It seems that he's physically suited to this weight at this point in his life. Just seemed like this is where his perfect fighting condition rests.

He could take out Valero and shut him up once and for all, then take the belts from the other lightwieght champions (JMM hopefully being one of them). Then fight Hatton and maybe retire at the top of his game.

pac is no pbf and is no rjj, he is a different fighter.

By that logic you would not place him as an underdog when he fights someone limited but bigger fighters. Hatton is a natural 140 lber, of course pac would be the underdog

diaz is as big as hatton but perhaps hatton a bit bigger in frame.. i actually had pac a chance of a KO against hatton based on that last fight he had with diaz, and prior to the diaz fight i also believe he has a chance against hatton.

But whatever happens at pac-hatton would not change my mind with pac-DLH if it happens

 

Hatton is a rather big step up in class from Diaz as well.

Fighting Ricky Hatton this November is too soon for Pac. He needs to get comfortable at 135 first, have a few fights with the best at that weight. THEN he could start thinking of fighting Hatton.

If this fight happens this year, then Pac would lose. I really hate to say it but he would lose bad(and that's me being a huge Pac fan, and don't care much for Hatton).

 

Finally a Pac fan with a rational thought process.

Diaz was selected as his first 135lb fight for a reason. The fact that he held the WBC title was merely incidental - though convenient.

 

i don't know whats up either, all are just probably talks right now, and it would be funny if humberto soto comes out of the blue to be pac's november opponent

 

Manny might be biting more than he could chew if he fights Hatton in Nov.

Philippine media is already reporting a Pac-Valero fight as if it's already a done deal. So what's really up, is anybody's guess(?)

My bet is it would be Pac-Valero in Nov. Then Hatton early 2009.

 

Juan Diaz would be a great start.

 

Perhaps Juan Diaz - for me the closest stylewise is Antonio Margarito, but I wouldn't even want to think of the consequences for Pac if that one happened!

I think Diaz vs Hatton would have happened had he not lost to Campbell.

Given that PAC started out at 106 many are saying size is a huge factor and I tend to agree. At 140 I'm not sure if PAC can effectivily beat a very good, solid champion in Hatton. I'm not saying there is no chance but I see Hatton being stronger at 140 and they both bully their opponents. Pac could out box hatton but that's only if his speed and power are able to follow him up to 140. we will see. I'll be rooting for Pac, but I think he might get KO'd. With that said if Pac was a legit 140 pound fighter I think he gets the KO in devastating fashion.

 

Hatton has bullied guys bigger than him - he did it to Collazo pretty much all the way through, and Urango, though both performances were awful.

 

judging by hatton's last fights, pac has a real chance to win this, but he should wait a bit more.
