Pacquiao vs Hatton who fought Tszyu

Damaged goods or not, no jWW would survive that brutal KO punch. The Hatton from the Tszyu fight might not have been dropped twice in the 1st round, but given the angles of Pac's bombs and how open Hatton was to them, I'd still say Pac would eventually land one that Hatton just doesn't see coming and he would still get dropped.

When Hatton fought Tszyu Pac was in his mid twenties mixing it up as a Featherweight and nobody then ever could of predicted that he would be challenging the top 140 & 147 lb er's in the world , as Morales and Marquez shown he was beatable back then .

 

I very much doubt a 120lb Pac would have flattend Hatton back then , terrible comment !!!!!!!!!!

 

Same result but Ricky would have lasted a little bit longer. Pacquaio's hand speed, timing and combination punching are so far superior to anything Hatton has ever displayed that he simply cannot frequently get inside to smother him without wearing a ton of leather.

The ref would also play a big part, if it was a ref like the KT fight Ricky would be able to maul a bit more effectively and prolong the stoppage, but he would still struggle to get on the inside anyway and eventually fall. A no nonsense ref and the fight would look much like the fight that happened in 2009, with Hatton taking the punches a little better and working off the clinch slightly better.

Hatton is simply too limited offensively to ever beat Manny, not to mention his defense.

 

i get your point sir, but don't you think that the ref would be a difference too? u know what i mean, of course a free-for-all ref on hatton's side would be a factor eh?

 

Ref helped Hatton cheat, if not for that Hatton would have lost.

 

Tszyu would have been Hatton anywhere but the UK and Pac would have beaten Hatton too back then, 09 Pac I mean.

 

Pac is very underrated.

 

I don't recall the ref really favoring either fighter. I'll have to watch the fight again I know Hatton bullied KT around, but that's his style nothing wrong with that and in the first round Hatton hit KT behind the head, but KT hit hit Hatton with two or three low blows. Hatton came back and hit him with a low blow and I think they both had there share of holding and hitting. I'm not exactly sure, but I will have to rewatch the fight again because I might have missed a few things.

Too bad Kostya wasn't allowed to rabbit punch, elbow or throw the biggest haymaker to the balls in title fight history.
