Granted a former lightweight in Lazcano had Hatton wobbled a few times, but I think Pacquiao struggles, especially if the fight would happen in England. However, Hatton is still a better matchup at 140 than Paulie, who not only is bigger than Manny, but would be boxing circles around him. Hatton, on the other hand, blocks punches with his face when you have a ref who doesn't allow holding (see the difference between Hatton-Tszyu and Hatton-PBF). I've said numerous times that 135 is big enough for Pacquiao. But if the fight is on the table for a superfight with Hatton, and the other big players at 135 are unavailable at the moment, then why not?
I'm more of a Pac fan but It's ridiculous to suggest he would walk through Hatton. As of now I would still pick Hatton over Pac. I'm hoping Manny can make me change my opinion with his next couple of performances.
Pacmans moves well to the sides and not just back, he would pick hatton apart everytime Hatton attemps anything, Hatton may tag him to the body and stop him i can see that, but its no likly
True, thats why I think Pacquiao has to box in order to win the fight. Going into a phone booth fight with Hatton is stupid. Might as well use your killer speed to win the fight.
I don't think so. Pac's body is like a stone. Pac can absorb more in the body but not the chin.. Bottomline, I like the chance of pac over hatton.. I'll make my further comments once I see hatton in his next fight..
Great performance from Pac:good But keeping things in perspective, he(Diaz) was the weakest title holder there.
Speed,Power and great movement, he will outbox him early then take him out in the 7th-9th rounds i think
No doubt about that but I was impressed that his power still carried over from jr. lightweight and actually outboxing the guy. :bbb
