What? The only two welterweights he fought both marked him up pretty good and neither one is purported to be anywhere near the league of a one-punch knockout guy. Clottey isn't known as being a puncher and Cotto never once straight KO'd a welterweight. Whereas Hearns did several times. Clottey has one straight kayo in his career over a guy that never won a fight on record and lost the majority of his fights by stoppage.

 

No, I didn't forget the wording at all. It was meant to mock the idea which I have yet to stop arguing, not to attack Pacquiao fans. But there is a difference between being a Pacquiao fan and thinking he'd beat an elite ATG welterweight with elite level punching power. What's your point? Would it be a personal attack on Paul Williams fans if I were to mock the idea that he'd beat Marvin Hagler based on his middleweight career thus far? Of course not. Don't be silly assuming that's bashing and trashing or bias.

...I don't think you do get it, actually. And I did not say Pacquiao was good. I have said repeatedly that I think he is a truly great---all-time great fighter. Again, this IS NOT A PAC BASHING THREAD. I don't know how the point is so "simple" if you seem like you're not even understanding it to begin with. And please don't take the poll options so damned personally and seriously. That's so thin-skinned. It's intended in good humor not as a personal attack.
