they were fighting around the same weight during the time of the 2nd Marquez fight right? And around the time Guzman fought Soto?

Really interesting fight I have to say, the version of Pac who fought Marquez was pretty close to the best version of Manny (I've always considered Pac against Hatton as the best version, just the right weight for him) so this isn't the green, limited 1-2 version of Pac. And I definitely think the 130 version of Pac is way way better than Soto who, although lost in a lopsided decision, I think fared better in the fight against Guzman than the scorecards suggest.

I'll have to watch the Soto-Guzman fight again I guess before deciding.

 

Its difficult to know whether you are joking or not, tell me how Manny makes 40mil by fighting Marquez when he made less than 5 million for their two previous fights , and fighting shane who has only made money when fighting Oscar or Floyd?

Also to call Cotto and Oscar brawlers is a little ignorant , both have beaten slick fighters in Judah and Whitaker.

Pacquiao has avoided nobody , no black , white , red , slick , slugger , body puncher or brawler.

Guzman hasnt beaten anyone in the top P4P's where are Pacquiao has beaten many.

 

atsch Joan gets murdered! Even back in the day when Joan was at his best and PAC was still improving Joan didn't have what it took to beat PAC. He's all Flash with decent skills and fast hands but his Defense was only decent and PAC would have literally beat him up.

Guzman, Soto are supposeed to be Pac's kryptonite and up to this day nothing has changed!

Boxing IQ has really gone down the drain. If Mosqueda who is as slow as molasses was landing tons of bricks against a prime Guzman, imagine what Pac would do. He was basically doing a Mayweather against Humberto Soto.

Guzman is like a dog who barks but does not bite. Last KO was at 122 so imagine his power. Pac needs someone with decent power to get his respect otherwise he will just walk you down.

 

Pac is better than Guzman in every single facet of his game. Smarter, faster, stronger, more powerful, more experience, more everything.
