There is more to boxing than power. Maidana has crazy power, but there are plenty of fighters better than him. I'm one of those guys who prefer skill and speed over size and power

Maidana would get so very brutally mangled and sparked here.

He'd constitute the worst cherry pick of Pac's career since it vaulted into the spotlight.

Who's ***:huh you talking to Lance? I can answer that question for you though. He has too many legal problems right now. I think Floyd was planning on coming back around November or December, but then he got in all that trouble. There were plenty of interviews from memember of team Mayweather saying they think Floyd is going to come back late 2010

Maidana fits right into their style, but, I don't think its cherry picking, no. Maidana is a tough sob. Pac might win, but, it won't be easy.

Floyd never really did have long hair. I've seen multiple videos of him getting his head shaved. He's black and has short hair, so if he was balding from steroids, you wouldn't be able to tell that much.

It would be a good comeback after he loses to Mosley. He should beat Maidana and get back into the thick of things.

Wrong dip****. I didn't pay to see him bull**** fight vs. Marquez. Watched it for free much later. Didn't pay to see his fight vs. Baldomir either. Why do little kids like you get so much joy out of floyd getting paid? It's like it gets you wet or something...

Why's Marquez even on that list? He'd be slaughtered at 140+ by ALL of those fighters.

Why don't you ask yourself what happens between Maidana vs Marquez?

To be honest I have Marquez. I think Marquez can counter Maidana's slowass and avoid his KO shots. When Khan thre punches at Maidana, he didn't counter, he just shells up and waits for him to finish. Marquez isn't as quick as Khan obviously, but he has some very accurate punches and could land consecutive uppercuts on him like he did to Kastsidis

That's an understatement. Marquez isn't ANYWHERE near as fast as Khan, nor hits as hard, yet Maidana was able to weather through that into the final rounds where he almost knocked Khan out.

Maidana is NOT slow and predictive like Katsidis, this comparison is ridiculous. Maidana has a powerful, sneaky right hand that shows up every so often and practically rattles ALL of his opponents. He has better handspeed than Katsidis, and loves to counter himself. Marquez isn't a match for Maidana, he would be outclassed severely...struggling to overcome Diaz and getting rocked by Katsidis at 135lbs is NOTHING compared what a 140lb powerhitter like Maidana would do to him.

And if you're so confident of Marquez at 140lbs, WHY DOESN"T HE TAKE A FIGHT at 140lbs against a real 140lb fighter? He won't, because he just wants that final payday with Pac, and doesn't want to risk it against another real junior welterweight/full welterweight that would beat his ass back to lightweight like Mayweather did.

Nah, this should be a great fight, a very entertaining fight, between a fighter who never really lost and would have tko'ed Khan in a fifteen rounder, which should be revisited or perhaps resanctioned for this special occassion between two special warriors of our modern era...the theme perhaps the long lost diasporic asian son in Marcos Maidana against the 100 per cent certified unadulterated Pinoy in the Pacman.
