I'm getting sick of Bob Arum more than anyone else during this whole debacle. Yes I think it's a bluff, and I think team Mayweather will call it. It's seeming that Pacquiao needs Manny more than the other way around.

Now that a fight with one of the most talented fighters in the sport is in danger of not happening...You would think that he would fight the next best Fighter...But the first name out their mouth is: PAULIE MALIGNAGGI???

This is FAR WORSE the Kelly Pavlik backing out of the Paul Williams fight (several times) just to fight the last place finisher of a reality show....And then charge people $40.

He is currently ranked number 5 in the world at LWW....Former IBF champ, and his only losses were against other world class oppenents cotto, hatton, and has a controversial loss against diaz he later avenged....

Most guys with very little power in a brutal sport like boxing doesnt go very far...Paulie has done quite well....that's testament to the skills he has....Paulie is world class.....

 

Only an idiot would think that...anyone of average intelligence or better wouldn't jump to conclusions based on "one track" logic...

I'd prefer he fight Foreman at 154, and make a little more history. But this fight makes sense, for a backup fight put together on short notice. Pac will fight someone he'll have a reason to want to pound on, who has no chance of hurting him. Plus it will sell due to Malignaggi's recent media campaign to brand Pac a drug cheat. Can't wait for the 24/7
