told me what?? that paulie has punching power for his opponents to respect? he has 5 kos in what 27 or so fights...!!!!!!!!! Most ppl have a lot of their KOs when they begin their career fighting bums...and he couldn't even do that. Paulie will not outbox manny...manny throws more punches then him and he is faster than him...maybe outjab manny but that's it...paulie would get destroyed!!!!

I wouldn't put it past Paulie to win rounds vs Pacquiao.

However, the odds of him making it 12 rounds are low...And the odds of him being able win 7/12 rounds while staying on his feet are extremely low. So I'd give him a 1 in 10 shot. Manny also has to have an off night and Paulie has to be extremely well conditioned/focused and even tougher than he was in the Cotto fight.

I'd sooner see him fight JMM at 140, it would give JMM his 3rd attempt, hopefully settle the score between the two and the fans wouldnt be palmed off.

I dont think JMM would struggle with 140 (as he did 144), which would give a better balanced fight than the mayweather one.

You need to watch some Paulie. If he didn't have any poer, then why don't fighters walk right threw him? His movement and quickness is amazing. Sometimes he has a habit of taking rounds off and letting his opponent get back in the fight. Paulie has a great jab, 2" advantage in height, 3" advantage in reach and not to mention superior footwork and movement to Pac.

cotto walked right through everything paulie threw...and this was the version of cotto that was struggling to make 140 and he was rocked a few times from torres and corley because of it....he stunned juan diaz one time in a total of 24 rounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!! paulie did nothing to hatton..hatton knocked his braids off...paulie is fast and has great movement...but i don't agree that he has quicker footwork than manny...manny is great at engaging then moving to the side...paulie is a good fighter but ur overrating him...EVERY top fighter he fought against he lost too...Hatton and Cotto...same thing will happen against pacquiao

    agree cept the footwork

If he had the focus/conditioning to box all 3 minutes for all 12 rounds, he'd have a chance. However, vs pacquiao he'll eventually take a break and he'll get broken.

Or Pacquiao will show 0 respect for paulies power, and just rush him, and try to end the fight in 1 round. In a perfect world (as a paulie fan), Pacquiao gets a bad cut during this onslaught.

He doesnt have power, the main reason he doesnt get walked through is the fact that he is quicker than average and he can take a decent punch. However, he had similar advantages over Hatton with regards to reach and foot work, but he was never going to win the fight on defense alone. The result will be amplified with fighting pacquaio, i think he'd get stopped in the later rounds.

that's what i said...pacquiao has better footwork...pacquiao is probably a better counter puncher now as well...he countered hatton and cotto very well with a right hook

Paulie's back in 2010! No more fighting in the pocket like McGrit wanted in 2008. STICK AND MOVE!
