Most people knew May - Marquez was a warm up fight at best and they still ordered it.

    We've all said it before.

Both are huge draws. Mayweather is a bit bigger of a draw. Simple.

Most people new that? How can you say that? We all know casuals make up the brunt of PPV buys. Knowing that, why was it billed as a fight between two top p4P fighters if it was a tune up? Or why JMM was barred from discussing the agrees upon weight of 144, or why it was ONLY referred to as a Welterweight title fight? I'll tell you why, because it was SOLD as a legit World Title fight. They kept the weights under wraps because the size disparity was soo large it could turn off the casuals who THOUGHT it was a legit fight between peers.

Who the bigger draw is shoul be irrelevent when it comes to negotiations. Too close to let something lke that **** this up too.

As the other reply to this post said, it is opinion but I think Floyd's easily had more going for it.

Dallas stadium was a selling point for the Clottey fight not this one. Both of these fights had 24/7. Margo hand wraps were a negative. Catchweight trinket fight vs faded fighter was a negative. So out of all those listed the only one I can give full credit for is David vs Goliath.

When they finally got into the ring together, Floyd Hunched over at the initial staredown, it looked as if he was trying to hide the fact that he was huge in comparison to JMM..

The fight looked exactly like what it was.... a Full blown welterweight fighting a guy with who had 1 fight over 130 lbs.

you can't make some of this **** up... You clowns are truly looney for pac... He is not the bigger draw peroid. Just say it.. Just a few weeks ago you said he was..now that reality struck, you are using the non american cop out.. How ****ing long has pac been fighting here on ppv? Just take the lil asian dick pacifier out your mouth and deal with this one unimportant fact. It just means floyd should get a slightly larger purse or has a damn good argument for it.

Of course 24/7 isn't going to say it's a warm up fight, but anyone with a brain knew it was going to be a warm up fight.

No fight is ever going to be sold as a warm up fight for PPV. No one, it was sold one way but everyone with a brain knew otherwise.

Pac fans are so inconsistent with their analysis. On the other hand, I don't know why I care about this topic. I'm out, have fun everyone.
