How is his reputation tainted you ****ing idiot?! Because a ****ed-up old crackhead like Floyd Sr dreamt up a drug story so his zero-protecting son didn't have to fight him? Christ Almighty! If I say Floyd is a transsexual, does that mean his image as a man is tainted, because I said it with absolutely no foundation whatsoever??? :patsch

While history will look back at Marg like that, it doesn't change the fact that he currently still has a better resume than Berto. If Manny beats Marg and then the winner of Mosley-May he will have beaten all of the guys who have dominated the welterweight division the past couple of years. That reason is also another one why having Marg on his resume is better for Pac.

You're ignoring the fact that his whole resume is questioned.

Beating Margarito does nothing for him right now.

Margarito needs to get some wins under his belt before he's even a grain of salt on a win.

    Agree to disagree.

Like I said, that polygraph was not administered by the FBI but by his lawyers.

By "passing" the test by his lawyer, he could of been asked, YES I took EPO. And not been considered lying, because he passed.

This is off-topic, and I actually agree with you, but polygraphs are bull****. They're not admissible in most European and US jurisdictions and their failure rates are far too large to be reliable. They're a PR / psychology move rather than a scientific test.

He was? You are a fool. Who caught him then? How did they catch him? You can't answer those questions because you are just popping off. He was called to a hearing and answered truthfully. By default those answers made him guilty. That is not "caught". That is an admission of guilt through association. (I personally think he was guilty and knew it. An elite competitor knows his body too well not to notice.)

I agree with you. The AC commission put forth the punishment and he served it. I am not against the fight because I am against Margarito. I am against the fight because Margarito needs to get in the ring and show he is an elite competitor and there is no way in hell he is ranked high enough or shaken off the ring rust to face Pac.

All of those other guys I listed are decent and active fighters. That would give Marg more than enough time to have a tune up and show where he stands.

(For the record, as a person who loves the sport though I think he committed the ultimate sin in boxing, loading gloves.)

I agree both are cheats...Nobody is ignoring that...Hell, you'll never hear me vouch for Shane on this matter...never have, never will!

Its a slight difference, Shane unknowing took an illegal suppliment (or atleast that what was being stated) He never failed a drug test...This came to light when he admitted to using the substance...I agree that some type of punishment should have been handed down, but hey, who the hell am I...Margorito did the most pitiful act in boxing...He could have killed somebody with that stunt he pulled!

If you dont see the difference then I dont what to tell, there both are cheats no doubt about it but look at the intent of the situation.

If he was caught why dont you post the article on it...Its a known FACT that he's pasted all drug test...He confessed to using a banned substance. He was not caught by the drug test in boxing.

Mosley built his name back up over time and Margarito is walking into a fight that he doesn't truly deserve after being embarrassed and brutally knocked out. Mosley was a good fighter with quality wins before and after the PED use and Margarito was proven to be nothing without the hand wraps. Margarito's whole career is worthless and the fight that he had without the hand wraps prove it.

So he just had a crisis of conscience and turned up to turn himself in, did he?

By the way, check the video that's just hit the forum!

Yeah, that's a fair enough point I suppose. I mean, his lay-off won't have been much longer than Shane's has been, but Margo looked so **** in his last fight that he should win a comeback clash before getting another superfight.

I don't see a big difference between loading gloves, taking PEDs, or any other form of cheating. Cheating is cheating to me.

Mosley walked into big fights in 2004, he didn't go back and build his name back up at all. That's total BS. He got a lmw unification fight against Winky, which was an eliminator for a $12m payday vs Tito Trinidad.

This is just semantic bull****. I never said anywhere that he failed a test, I said he was caught out as taking an illegal substance. Whether he volunteered the info, or was coerced into it, or leaked it accidentally, is irrelevant. The point is he was revealed to have used illegal substances.
