With Floyd earning 1.4 million in ppv sales, I see how Floyd will price himself more than 50/50 purse share, probably even greater than 60/40 against Pacquiao, once again derailing the biggest fight in this era.

Arum knows this that's why he went to the Philippines to talk to Pacquiao in to taking on Margarito. Margarito regardless of having suspended because of having plasters in his gloves, still has a huge latino fan base. People will watch him fight and probably even more because of his pretty good comeback in his recent fight.

It will break what Floyd has achieved in ppv sales and that will help Pacquiao and Floyd ( considering they do agree ) to have a much greater estimated buy and will really bring huge amounts of Money. Business wise this really makes sense.

Pacquiao vs Floyd won't happen this year and probably will happen May of next year.

    What do you guys think?

It will be bull**** if Pac fights Margo instead of PBF. I'm sure they will be able to come together to make it happen.

I think it hurts manny in the eyes of the public. His last fight was a disgrace to boxing, and now he's going to fight a cheater who received a bad beating.

Freddie wont let that match happen. If Pac had any respect for boxing he wouldnt fight that cheat anyway.

I think you are making up things to make you feel better about Arum setting up a fight with Margarito next. To go and assume that Mayweather will ask for more than a 60/40 split is asinine. IF Bob Arum wants to milk manny and margo some more ofcourse he can but it makes nobody happy but Bob Arum and crew. The boxing fans get the shaft and i feel some of you people are ok with that.

I hope PBF and his camp realize that to get the fight made, it's going to have to be 50/50.

  8. If Pacquiao fights anybody but Mayweather or Bradley next I will be extremely disappointed as a fan of both boxing and Manny Pacquiao.

That's actually a good point. PBF and his camp have to take into consideration of the age factor. He's still in his prime but this fight needs to get done in the next 1-2 years.

I want to see this fight when both guys are still at the top of their games.

Thats been Arums plan all along to get his figters to fight eachother. They probably want floyd to drop the testing issue and wont cave in to his demands. They need to come to some agreement. But its quite possible the figh will be put off again.

Mayweather will scupper the fight as he will want a bigger slice of the money.
I can see it coming a mile off.

If this fight doesn't happen by the middle of next year Floyd should just retire.

Yes, it would be an easy win for his fighter.
