It doesnt matter if he looked more agressive or not, jmm was more effective in that round in jabs and powerful punches, and the more punishing shots were about the same, the difference is the rest of the punches, i usually dont like compu box stats but take a look at round 7...

I thought JMM proved his case and edged it, but could've gone either way.

I thought Marquez won by 1 point. I scored the 7th round for Marquez.

I think JMM clearly won. Pacquiao flurried and made it confusing but he didn't land as effectively and did not control most of the fight. Marquez's punches for the most part affected Pacquiao much more. There was only one late round where Pacquiao clearly dominated, and the knockdown round...besides those two there aren't many more you could have given him if you watched closely. I watched both fights repeatedly with extra care, rewinds and all, and I think the judges were definitely overly influenced by unimpactful flurries and Pac's legacy. Marquez won too many rounds to lose.

How does everyone think about Marquez hanging on to the ropes in round 3? Should that have been counted as a knockdown? Does it change anyone's score?

Not really..It was a close fight and could have gone either way. I initially had it for JMM by 1. But at the end of the day, JMM was just a thorn on Mannys side at 130. At 140 its elementary who wins.

Ken Norton beat Ali but theres no argument whos greater.

i agree at least on my scorecard but i would not argue with anyone scoring it for marquez by a point. i had it 6 rounds a piece with about 3 or 4 rounds too close that a swing is justifiable. one of the greatest fights in the last 2 years.

I honestly felt that Marquez performed better in the second fight. Marquez definitely has Pac's number. I think that Marquez deserved the nod and won the second fight by more than one point.
