u really think so? i rate them about the same. they are both on the same small list of things you should NEVER DO (under any circumstance)

 

have you heard about the scientific study into the philosophy of professional level athletes? ill try and dig it up but basically the question was raised to them in a broad survey crossing many many sports but only at the elite level if they would take a performance enhancing drug which would basically guarantee them a gold medal (or the equivalent of in there respective sport) the draw back being they would die within 5 years of taking the supplement. i forget the figures exactly but it was something around the 95% mark that said yes.


EDIT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldman's_dilemma my mistake i found a few links about the article many claiming over half but most are saying "around half". still a significant amount when you think about how many pro boxers we have and how many have been caught. i suppose what i expect people to take away from this is that athletes at this level are just so focused on their ultimate goal and so fixated they are willing to lose it all for a taste of greatness, in a way it seems greatness is one hell of an addictive drug
