I can imagine both doing an exhibition fight at some point. I would favour Pacquiao only because he's been active. Also, until the knockout I though Pacquiao's best performance against Marquez was in fight 4 where he was regularly tagging Marquez with his left cross.

Marquez won 10 rounds in the first fight and definitely earned a decision in the 3rd

Well Marquez sure settled the controversies once and for all in the 4th and final fight putting Pacquiao to sleep. Marquez is bad for Pacquiao‘s health.

 

Bruh, from 2008-2021, haters have been saying Pac is on PEDs.

 

Interesting given that Pac went on to fight for almost a decade longer after the KO and established more (unbreakable) records whereas Marquez got schooled by Bradley and tried multiple times to come back to boxing, but failed (including most recently the exhibition with Cotto).

To be honest, the fact that Pac wasn't retired by the KO hurts and pisses Marquez off to no end.

I think all athletes are on something but Pac or Floyd fans accusing others while claiming their fighter isn’t is just too funny.

 

Pac never said anything about Marquez being in PEDs. Roach did. And Marquez threatened to sue Roach, but didn't. Wonder why. LOL!

Marquez also refused VADA testing for the Bradley fight, same as Floyd for the Pac fight.

Pac's been tested by VADA 5-6X. Marquez 0. Floyd 0.

No it does he just wanted to prove beyond any doubt he was the better man. Nothing says it better than a knockout putting the other guy to sleep.

It's amazing how people still like to sh#t on Pac for the KO loss to JMM even though the fight itself was between 2 ATGs and it was an amazing fight with a great comeback and unexpected KO when it looked like JMM was on the verge of getting stopped. The 4th fight solidified the greatness of this rivalry. I'm not sure why people still can't appreciate both Pac and JMM equally with the fights they both gave us without sh@tting on the other.

The fact that Pac managed to still bounce back after a horrific KO that would have send 90% of fighters to retirement is truly testament to Pac's tenacity, confidence, and heart. Remarkable fighter and career. And also another reason why Pac will always be seen as the greater fighter than JMM when all is said and done.

As for a 5th showdown. No thanks.

JESUS, these are the same Pacquaio fans that where making pre fight excuses for Pacquaio when he was suppose to face Spence Jr.

Apparently 2 years inactivity was going to be too much and the main reason for his potential defeat.


But Marquez who hasn't fought for 7 years, I will repeat it again.. 7 years.. should just jump back in the ring or it's a "duck".
