What were the results of these fights? Pacquiao was able to put Marquez down three times in theri first fight and I think once in their second fight. You can say that the point differential was a factor in the scoring because of the knockdowns but not that Pacquiao dommanated Marquez.

JMM stopped Diaz, the first time. Then CLEARLY outboxed him the second time. Paulie's fights with Diaz, aren't better. He lost on a controversial decision the first time, and outboxed him the second time. Not to mention, Diaz was moving up in weight, against Paulie.

JMM stopped Katsidis. What does Katsidid's defense have to do with him putting JMM on the canvas, with a good shot?

The results of JMM and Pac's two fights, proves just the opposite.

Looks like I am the only one here who think Marquez gives Pacquiao fits at any weight. 126 all the way to 147.

Marquez is no smaller than Pacquiao. Matter of fact, he is even naturally bigger than Pacquiao, when Pac was fighting at 122 and below, Marquez was already comfortably fighting at 126.

People got carried away by how Marquez performed at 144 against Floyd but let's not forget that that was Marquez' first fight above 135 and Floyd came in at 146 (and even came in with bigger weight advantage by fight night).

But on top of it all, Marquez' style is well suited against Pac. Marquez throws counterpunches while Pac is on the offensive. That is the biggest difference between Marquez and all the rest of Pac's opponents. Guys like DLH, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito covers up when Pac is on the attack and only launches their own offense when Pac finishes - by that time Pac has already 3 steps away. Pac is very vulnerable when he is on the offensive and Marquez capitalizes on it.

Pac - Marquez at 147, Pac by 1 or 2 point decision win in a fight that almost resembles their 2 previous fights.

The guy(Pac) made his legacy by fighting shot, old fighters. I like to see him get back to fighting the best instead of guys who are not at their best any more.

I already have. And I see JMM giving Pac many of the same problems. Trust me...so does Team Pac. Freddie Roach has said in an interview, the fight would be competitive 20 out of 20 times. And that was some time after the ODLH fight, but, prior to the Cotto fight.

Tell me in which of his fights since that JMM 2 fight, you saw this drastic change in Pac, which ensures a CLEAR victory over JMM now?

Not blind...just honest. Believe what you want. But, just remember, his last five or six opponents have only been BIGGER, they have not, necessarily, been more SKILLED than the Morales's, Barrera's and JMM's, he faced earlier in career.
