If you are so convinced that JMM's "style" is such a nightmare for Manny, how could you have any shred of confidence that Manny beats Floyd? Seriously, no troll or loaded question, just curious how you figure.

JMM was at a disadvantage fighting at 144 when he fought Floyd, and he is again at a disadvantage fighting at 144 against Manny. Floyd failing to come down two pounds does not change the fact that Marquez had to move up two weight classes for the fight, just as he is doing now. It does not suit him...and he has said this on more than a few occasions.

Since he and Manny are the "same size" the fight would've best been made at 140. But, it is obvious that it is at 144, because, Team Pac wants an added advantage. :bart

Marquez is a warrior, though...and desperate for the bout. So, he will, no doubt, come to fight.

Styles make fights. Oscar struggled with Whitaker and Quartey, fans still wanted him to fight Tito and it set a record for non-heavy PPV at the time. The demand for Pac-Mayweather will not stop until one loses badly.

are you implying that marquez style is the same as floyd? they are both different fighters though i conceed that floyd still has the styles advantage against pac.

i have floyd as the favorite against pacquiao while i have pac as the favorite over marquez.

but the difference this time is that pac would make the 144 limit which floyd didn't. that means less weight difference plus the fact that both of them are naturally the same size. jmm now is not stranger anymore in fighting above 135 unlike when the first time he fights floyd. his fight against mayweather and likar ramos gained him some valuable experience in training and fighting above 135.

pacquiao has a potential floyd fight at 147 so it would be counter-productive for him to yo-yo up and down the weight. you are criticizing pac that he won't fight marquez at 140 when floyd won't even fight marquez at 144.

One sided beat down, marquez way passed it, will be giving pac no credit for this win at 144 lbs.

I couldn't give a ****. It will be nothing like previous fights. Just like Floyd's recent fight, a mismatch.
