Yes. I did see the Primetime version of Mayweather-Ortiz and you couldn't really hear the punches because Ricardo was screaming non stop. It was horrible.

    Timothy Bradley vs Joel Casamayor

    WBO Welterweight Title
When: 12th November Live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas
What: Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez
Where: All on Primetime: Sky channel 480, Virgin Media ‘On Demand’ and online at www.primetimelive.co.uk

A clash of warriors going in different directions meet up just before the Pacquiao vs Marquez trilogy fight. Timothy Bradley is Top Rank’s newest signed fighter and is being looked upon as a future opponent for Manny Pacquiao, but he first has to get by a 40-year old former World Champion in Joel Casamayor.

I announced Casamayor’s last fight, a year ago last November in Las Vegas at the Planet Hollywood Casino.. Casamayor slugged out a split decision win over Manuel Leyva. Casamayor relied on his counter shots against Leyva who at the time sported an 18-1 record with 10 knockouts.

Casamayor is now fighting for the money and his legacy. He was not given a chance when he fought Almazbek Raiymkulov at Madison Square Garden in 2005, yet he managed to get a draw against the unbeaten Raiymkulov.

After that fight Casamayor went on to upset the likes of Lamont Pearson, Diego Corrales, Jose Armando Santa Cruz and Michael Katsidiis. The string of wins by Casamayor was stopped by Juan Manuel Marquez as he battered Casamayor in the 11th and forced referee Tony Weeks to stop the fight.

Casamayor would get one more mega fight against a tough lefty known as The Ghost, Robert Guerrero. Casamayor got up off the canvas in the second and even managed to drop Guerrero in the 10th, but it wasn’t enough. Guerrero got a unanimous 10-round decision over Casamayor.

Still thinking he has it in him, Casamayor kept training until he got his shot with Leyva and now Bradley.

For Bradley this is his big opportunity on a mega stage at the MGM as the pre Pacquiao vs Marquez fight. After walking away from a million dollar plus offer to unify the title against Amir Khan, Bradley let his contract run out with Gary Shaw and Thompson Boxing to sign with Top Rank.

Bradley thought that as a three time world champion, his star did not have the glimmer it should have. So he signed with Top Rank in the hopes that they will make him the star he covets being. But does this mean he finally fights Amir Khan to unify the Junior Welterweight titles? Time will tell.

Timothy Bradley is a product of the California Desert, specifically North Palm Springs. He trains in the heat of the desert and stays rooted in the desert like a cactus plant.

Fighting Bradley is like fighting a cactus plant, a prickly proposition where anything goes. I describe Bradley as a smaller version of Evander Holyfield with the way he uses his third punch, his head. Like a cactus plant he does not pack a great punch but has so many prickly things to harm you with if you get close.

This is why I really wanted to see Amir Khan fight Bradley. As Khan has the speed, discipline and conditioning to box and stay outside on Bradley. When a fighter takes some time off and comes inside and thinks they are going to grab and hold, this is when they fall prey to Bradley’s tactics.

Bradley is a fighter, a relentless one at that who wins with will more than skill. He fights as if you are coming to take his children. You look at his knockout percentage of only 39 per cent and yet he is not seen as a great boxer either. But then there’s an 0 in his loss column.

Top Rank is definitely looking at Bradley as a possible Pacquiao opponent. Top Rank has the finest matchmaker in the world in Bruce Trampler and it is no accident that Bradley is fighting a southpaw in Casamayor. It’s a prelude and it is up to Bradley to shine in the biggest stage yet of his boxing career.

It will be a real treat to call this fight with Amir Khan as he can be in the moment and see the opportunities for what he could do with Bradley. How lucky can the viewers at Primetime be to get a chance to hear from Amir Khan and trust me to get it out of him. I can hardly wait.

This will be an ugly fight between Casamayor and Bradley, but in the end, Bradley wins it convincingly as he looks to fight Pacquiao. Bradley does not want any part of Khan. Bradley is 28 and Khan is 24, eventually Bradley is going to have to meet the man from Bolton in the ring.

This is why I love the way Amir Khan’s professional career is unfolding as he is more than willing to take on the best. He has called out Mayweather and has called out Bradley, everybody has their excuses to not fight him. Time is on Khan’s side. As you watch Bradley fight Casamayor, you will see that speed troubles him and fighting a 40 year old is a lot different than fighting a 24 year creating his legacy.

I’m picking Bradley by a head.

Pacquiao vs Marquez III sees the World’s best pound for pound fighters return to Primetime this November. Ranked number 1in the pound for pound lists, Manny Pacquiao will be looking to end the controversy by convincingly dispatching long time rival Juan Manuel Marquez. After a controversial points decision and a draw both fighters have a point to prove. The previous battles have delivered knockdowns galore and this fight promises to be no different.

Timothy Bradley steps back into the ring after ten months out and having been stripped of his WBC title as issues with his manager meant a fight with Amir Khan didn’t happen. Bradley will want to return to winning ways and prove he is still the number 1 in the Light Welterweight division. To do that he’ll need to defend his WBO title against former two division champion Joel Casamayor.

Breidis Prescott also makes a quick return to British TV screens. Following his points loss to Paul McCloskey the only man to knock Amir Khan out aims to get back to winning ways as he challenges for the IBF Latino Light Welterweight crown. An undefeated Mike Alvarado stands in his way, with 41 KO’s from 58 fights between them this has all the makings of a fight of the night candidate.

The card is completed by Luis Cruz vs Juan Burgos for the NABO Super Featherweight championship.

So it’s titles fights all the way on November 12th, another must see night exclusive to Primetime!

You can order the card for only £14.95 by calling 08712004444*, visiting www.primetimelive.co.uk or Virgin Media customers can purchase using the ‘On Demand’ menu. Customers on Sky must register the first time they use Primetime and once registered can purchase using the ‘box office’ menu.

Khan was decent in the studio for Mayweather-Ortiz but whoever thought he'd make a decent commentator is a moron. Sorry but that's just the way it is.

I guess Primetime's thinking is that if people will pay for Khan/Salita, Khan/Presscott, Hatton/Lazcano etc.. why wouldn't they be able to get enough to pay for Pacquiao and Marquez.

Sucks but pay per view for boxing always sucked.

****ing hell, £15 to listen to Amir Khan's attempt at commentary, I might get it just for the comedy value. On second thoughts, my mute buttons broke and i can see him being about as good at commentating as eddie the eagle was at ski jumping.

Andy Kerr on Pacquiao vs Marquez III:
This Is Another Must See Card On Primetime
    WBO Welterweight Title
When: 12th November Live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas
What: Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez
Where: All on Primetime: Sky channel 480, Virgin Media ‘On Demand’ and online at www.primetimelive.co.uk

Pacquiao vs Marquez III is rapidly approaching, as we get ready for fight night we sat down with Primetime presenter Andy Kerr to get his thoughts ahead of the broadcast.

“The first two fights between these two were fantastic; the second time they fought was actually one of the first times I ever presented a boxing TV broadcast so it brings back great memories for me. Their styles complement each other which is what makes their fights so exciting. If anything Pacquiao may be bigger now but these are two unbelievably talented boxers and I can’t wait to see what they do on Saturday.”

“There are so many things to consider for this one. Will the return to Welterweight be a disadvantage for Marquez? It’s hard to say, nobody looks good against Floyd Mayweather so it may not have been the weight that made the difference in that fight. Making weight is a science, you can ask Amir Khan about that. You just have to look at how slowly Alex Ariza has gone about moving him from a Light Welterweight to potentially a Welterweight after Christmas. It has to be done so scientifically to get the maximum from it. Look at David Haye, how slowly he moved from Cruiserweight to Heavyweight, it’s not just a case of piling on pounds. We’ll find out at the weekend how scientifically that’s been done with Marquez and if he’s now a natural Welterweight he’ll be very dangerous for Manny.”

“It has been said by Marquez’ camp that with Pacquiao now being more refined it makes him easier for Marquez to deal with. To me that sounds like good psychology, nothing more. Pacquiao may be a better boxer now but that just makes it better for us to watch. Freddie Roach is brilliant, not just at coaching, but at preparing strategies for fighters and personally I don’t see Pacquiao having any weaknesses that Marquez can exploit in this fight.”

“Freddie has done a fantastic job at refining Pacquiao, but Pacquiao can still throw those wild shots from crazy angles. In his last couple of fights he hasn’t had to as he hasn’t been pushed. The last time he was really in trouble was probably the last Marquez fight. Nobody has really pushed him in probably 2 or 3 years. In that time he’s faced Mosely, Hatton, De La Hoya, Cotto and Margarito, the best in the world. It’s phenomenal really as you have to wonder who will be able to push him.”

“Amir Khan will be joining us on commentary for this fight. I’m really interested to hear what Amir’s got to say, he knows Pacquiao and Freddie so well, and that will enable him to give us fantastic insight as the fight progresses. Khan and Bradley still have a serious beef after Bradley wouldn’t fight Amir in a unification fight earlier this year. Then there’s also Breidis Prescott on the card – we all know what happened when they met, so he’s got insight into all the fights. He’ll have to feel his way into it as the night progresses but it’ll be interesting to hear how much he’s absorbed the lessons from Manny and Freddie. He was a brilliant pundit when we had him in the studio for Mayweather, his insight was really fascinating, and if he’s as good a commentator as he was a pundit it’s a great addition to the broadcast.”

“Timothy Bradley has a lot to prove after a long time out of the ring. He would argue he’s the best Light Welterweight on the planet, although Amir may have something to say about that. He’ll have to prove he can shake off the ring rust and come back at his best.”

“Talking about things to prove. Joel Casamayor, if he can roll back the years and be like he was 3 or 4 years ago, could make this a fantastic fight. You never know with older boxers, you see someone like Bernard Hopkins and he looks 15 years younger and then you look at someone like James Toney and he’s just so far removed from where he was in his younger days. The question for Joel Casamayor is has he aged well?”

“Will Bradley have one eye on Khan? He’ll have probably both eyes on Khan and maybe even be looking down at him in the commentary booth when he should be focused on Casamayor. He’ll be looking to say to Khan “I’m the number 1 and you should be fighting me next”. This is a huge potential banana skin for him. If he’s focusing on Khan, or a potential fight with Pacquiao, and Casamayor can roll back the years Bradley could be looking at his first defeat. He can’t afford to look ahead to future fights or down at Khan at ringside. It’s just another reason why it’s so intriguing to have Khan there commentating.”

“Then we come to Breidis Prescott. Prescott will always be mentioned around the world level because of what he did to Amir Khan and his name will always be tied to Amir. Was he lucky against Khan? Was it just two lucky punches? Time will tell. He looked great against McCloskey, maybe he was hard done to with the decision but it’s hard to go over to someone’s back yard and get a result. You have to give him credit he’s prepared to go anywhere in the world to fight and I’m looking forward to seeing him in action again. I hope he does go on to get that big shot as I think he deserves it.”

“This is another absolutely stacked card on Primetime. There are 4 fights on this card you just have to see, if I wasn’t in the studio I would be at home watching. They’re just such deep cards, sometimes you sit around all night just waiting on a main event but with this you just have to see every fight. I can’t wait, we’ll do a great job of putting it all together for you so you can sit back and enjoy another must see night on Primetime.”

    Pacquiao vs Marquez III:
More Than Just A Main Event
    WBO Welterweight Title
When: 12th November Live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas
What: Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez
Where: All on Primetime: Sky channel 480, Virgin Media ‘On Demand’ and online at www.primetimelive.co.uk

Pacquiao vs Marquez III is almost upon us, but this isn’t a card focussed only on the main event. As well as the main event there are title fights all the way through the card. Timothy Bradley is defending his WBO Light Welterweight crown against Joel Casamayor, Mike Alvarado defends his IBF Latino Light Welterweight title against Breidis Prescott and Luis Cruz battles Juan Carlos Burgos for the NABO Super Featherweight belt.

Cruz vs Burgos features two up and coming fighters that are looking to push themselves into the World title picture. So let’s spend a little time getting to know these fighters that could well put on the fight of the night.

    LUIS CRUZ
    Record: 19-0 (15)
    Age: 26
    Home: Las Piedras, Puerto Rico
    Nationality: Puerto Rico
    Height: 5’9

Could Luis ‘El Atresano’ Cruz be the next big thing out of Puerto Rico? Well he trains with Miguel Cotto, and could be knocking on the door of a world title shot should he win tonight.
He was born in the USA and moved to Puerto Rico when he was three years old. He has picked up national honours as an amateur before turning pro in 2007 as a 21-year-old and has remained unbeaten ever since.
Currently WBO number two, WBA number five, WBC number four and IBF number three. He picked up that high WBO ranking after winning the WBO Latino super-featherweight title. While there may not be much by way of big names on his record, his last opponent, Antonio Davis, was a former world title challenger. Cruz beat him in six rounds.
Cruz has 15 stoppages to his name, including five in the first round, and this will be his first time scheduled for 12 rounds. He's had seven scheduled 10 rounders, only hearing the final bell twice.
    JUAN CARLOS BURGOS
    Record: 27-1 (19)
    Age: 23
    Home: Tijuana
    Nationality: Mexico
    Height: 5’8.5
Juan Carlos Burgos is from Tijuana, Mexcico, and is a former world title challenger. He was previously ranked as high as number two with the WBC at featherweight, and this is a step up in weight.
Burgos turned pro in Mexico in 20047 two weeks before his 17th birthday. Boxing is in the blood as uncle Victor Burgos is a former light-flyweight world champion (he hasn't boxed since undergoing surgery following his loss to Vic Darchinyan in 2007).
Juan Carlos Burgos rose rapidly after his pro debut, picking up regional WBC belts before taking on Hozumi Hasegawa in November 2010, losing a WBC featherweight title fight in Japan on points. He’s fought twice since then, defeating Frankie Archuleta in two rounds, and last time out beating Gilberto Sanchez Leon over 10 in July.

If it's on Sky then no as it done by the viewing card. If it's online doesn't matter where you watch it. And if Virgin it goes onto the bill of the box viewed on
