...the fact that it is happening solidifies the fact that we will go another year without Pacquiao-Mayweather happening. The buzz for that fight began in '09...does anyone realize that by year's end, we'll have been waiting almost two and a half year for that fight? Two and a half ****ing years...:-(

Anyway, I have no problem with Pac-JMM III aside from that. Marquez deserves a shot, and Pacquiao will get the chance to silence the critics for once and for all. And don't be so sure Pacquiao is going to destroy Juan. I still think this will be a difficult fight for Pacquiao, because **** all that "Pac has out-grown Marquez" crap...**** that. JMM has Pac's number. Just like Norton had Ali's #, just like Tarver had Roy's #, Marquez has Pac's and it will ALWAYS be a tough fight for Manny...

...somewhere deep down inside, I'm hoping Pacquiao loses...same goes with Floyd if he ends up fighting before the end of the year. **** them both.

Agreed. We should be supporting Marquez in this trilogy fight with the pacman. He has never dissappointed us boxing fans. Plus he is still superior, skill-wise to Pacquiao. Look what a little movement did in Mosley Pacquiao. Marquez will give Pacquiao fits

I'm actually starting to believe that it is Arum who doesn't want Pacquiao to fight Floyd...there is no way a man that powerful in boxing circles couldn't make that fight happen if he really wanted to...it has to be pride and his disdain for FMJ that makes him avoid that fight, because there is no way he doesn't realize how much money that fight would generate...

...another thing regarding FMJ-Pac...did they even TRY this time? Did the possibility of that fight happening this year even cross their minds? I mean, for cryin' the **** out loud...ugh, thinking about it is getting me pissed...:fire

to be honest, even if pacquiao took on thor, zeus, golaith, and SNV in the same night on free network TV, it would be a dissapointment to us fans of the sport because it wasnt mayweather

i totally agree. I dont think there even was a negotiation. according to uncle bobby, it was just haymon, HBO, and, todd debueoff, president of TR, i think, not sure on that last part. Bob wasnt even in the damn thing. Floyd comes out and says there never was anything going on. U got to question arum if there was.

There's nothing you can do when theres a coward that only fought 2x in the past 5 years, hiding and on vacation for the past three years.

As long as Pac comes in at 144.. and JMM is smart enough to come in less than 138. then i like the fight... I mean JMM will get a tune up at the weight anyway... Mayweather's scared.. end of discussion

Let me get this straight. Bob arum puts a countdown clock for mayweather to respond and runs out and floyd doesn't even say a thing to the media. Not even take the test to the media. The only we hear from floyd is when pac was signed for a fight. Then the next negotiations we hear comes from oscar saying its really close. Then negotiations have stopped and haymon says there was none but hbo pres there was and it was up to floyd. Then a fight was to happen in africa jeff confirming negotiations. Was again stop because of floyds asking pricce. Yet its arums fault? Blame pac for the first, but the rest was all floyds. Blaming arum is some crazy ***** logic

blame mayweather, he's the ****ing coward.

I mean how seriously big is your ego that you are so afraid to take an ass whoooping for 25 mil dollars that you won't take the fight.

Arum can't make Floyd want to fight Pacquiao. Floyd is not interested in fighting Pac. He might not be interested in fighting at all. Even if he comes back, he'll look for a tune-up .
