There was only a shade over one year between the third and fourth fights. It's ridiculous to claim that a fight in 2011 was 'prime' Pacquiao, but thirteen months later that he was not merely past his prime, but so far gone that the fight is basically meaningless. Especially as neither guy had any taxing fights or heavy punishment in between those fights. You've come up with some magical cut off points for Manny's prime or peak because it suits your argument.

 

First fight was 9-3 rds in favor of Marquez
Second fight was 8-4 in favor of Marquez
Third fight was clearly JMMs
Fourth fight we all know what happened: KTFO6

 

I stated that Pac got the nod but that still doesn't change the fact that they were razor thin fights that could have gone either way, now does it?

 

pacman was juiced, but not specially, he was more juiced vs margarito tbh.

 

More or less it was even. But with one difference, this ko will remain for history. And probably it makes marquez the winner. What a ko dude, ridiculous ko, half the spectators thought he had killed him.

 

As Apollo Creed said about the Rocky fight when told he got the decision,,," yeah but I didn't beat him" Manny never beat Marquez but he got some decsions

 

Pac the greater fighter no question but Marquez tapped that more than once.
