Pacquiao vs Mayweather 2 - who will win next year?

Though I doubt it will happen.

Since they, as contemporaries (and each with comparable outside the ring distractions, as well as legendary gym rat status, which for both has over the years demonstrated great elasticity in returning from layoffs and still whipping themselves into excellent shape), are going to always be about proportionately as shot as each other, so the outcome IMO will never change from what it was in 2015...and that works in the other direction as well. Subtract five years, have them meet in 2010 and it would be the same as it was in 2015 and the same as it will be in 2020: a dull and mildly controversial (among Pacquiao fans, at least) decision for Mayweather. It was never going to be anything else, whenever they met.

Manny beat Thurman. That victory is better than any of Floyd's wins since Manny, or even before.

Floyd's legs are gone, his accuracy is gone, hasn't fought a top Boxer in eons.

Floyd looked shot v Conor because McGregor stood off him and made him come on the front foot, Floyd isn`t as good at oppening up fighters on the front foot as he is on the back foot, Manny`s style of coming forwards is tailor made for Floyd`s counter punch style, Manny`s jab isn`t good enough, consistent enough or long enough to get inside on Floyd, another boring chess match coming up.

 

Floyd looked better walking Judah and Mosley down than he did walking down Conor, who had nothing on his punches. That should tell you have much he had declined in 2017. Put another three years of inactivity and age on that...

 

And Manny is still here taking world class scalps = Floyd has zero chance.

I'd be surprised if this fight happens. Manny needs to KO Floyd to get the win because he sure as hell won't get it on the judges' scorecards. I think there's a good chance Manny does that.

It would be just the same outcome as the first fight. Floyd is not gonna engage with manny,hes too smart for that. He will just pot shot manny the whole fight.

If this fight gets made itll just be for the money. Not really interested. I”d rather see manny go for crawford. So he can retire after he wins or lose.
