pac is not just a great boxer but a very professional boxer as well, he understands and respects the promoter-boxer relationship very much. when he says "i let my promoter choose who i'll fight" he means i respect and trust my promoter. yes, he wants to fight what the fans want him to fight but gives his promoter the final say. Even if he is already a superstar he is still humble just like when he mingles with his poor childhood mates even though he is probably the richest in his town.

If not Pac then who? Its been pretty clear from the start that Arum doesnt want the fight niether does Roach, but at the end of the day its Pac's name and his career that we are talking about. After Pac is gone roach will train other fighters and Arum will represent other fighters but Pac wont fight again.

Arum didnt want Pac to fight Oscar and he fought him anyways

Roach didnt want him to fight Shane and he fought him anyways

But when it comes to floyd its thier fault that he isnt/hasnt fought Floyd?

    ******* logic at its finest.

When? 2020 when they are in thier 40's.

There comes a point when the biggest fight in boxing doesnt matter anymore. See Leonard vs Pryor, Bowe vs Lewis, Jones vs Hopkins II.

Floyd vs Pac has already started to lose its luster being that both fighters are getting older and starting to fight alittle differently because of it. I thought that Pac's balance was bad in his last fight, and I thought that Floyd fought too flat footed in his last fight. I think that both guys are on the verge of a loss that would kill this fight

Sounds like you don't want them to fight :patsch

Regardless of Pac's previous fights, a bout vs PBF is still the financially biggest that could be made for both fighters.

As a boxing fan, I really want this fight to happen already.

Previously he said he wants it but doesn't care if the Mayweather fight doesn't happen. Remember his 'I've already done enough and satisfied in this sport' line. If it happens good, if not it's okay.

Now he is saying he is actively pursuing the fight. Because according to him that's what the fans want. But forget about that. Concentrate on the part where he is saying he wants it now. He doesn't not care anymore. It is all on Arum now. He is saying if there is anyone to blame it's not him because he is willing to take the test and get less than 50% if need be.

I think this is a good development.

'Professionals' don't let their promoter potentially ruin the biggest payday in boxing history over petty beef, especially when they themselves (allegedly) want the fight also.

Only yes-men, dupes, or those who agree with the promoter allow that to happen.

It's easy to catch a liar, just listen to him. He eventually gives it away.

Few people can do self-promotion successfully. Pacquiao is not one of them; he needs ARum. He doesn't have the personality to be able to promote himself effectively. Regardless of who he wants to fight, Arum will prevail at the end.
