    . fight is close to being a reality.
    According to the Twitter account of TV.com sports reporter, Molly E. Sullivan, the super fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will happen in late November and billionaire hotel & casino mogul, Steve Wynn, is going to build a big outdoor venue to host the fight in Las Vegas.
    Lunch update from my #1 source in Vegas: Pacquio/Mayweather IS happening late Nov… Steve Wynn is building an outdoor venue just for fight.

    Bob Arum and Freddie Roach have both sent out positive comments to the media concerning the super fight as well.
    Arum said a resolution for the Mayweather-Pacquiao negotiations would come out within the next week or two and Pacman’s trainer Freddie Roach thinks since Manny Pacquiao

    has officially been sworn into Philippines congress he is now ready and focused and willing to agree to all the terms for the boxing match.

    I dont know whether this source can be trusted but what do you guys think about building a stadium to host this fight? Is it a good business decision? Personally i dont think so but it would certainly add to the event if this fight does go ahead.

    I agree, and hope I don't end up eating my words on this one. We have too many positive indicators that it's a go to be anything otherwise.

    i'll take your word for it but just saying here in the UK it takes a hell of a long time for a stadium to get built but major props to that billionaire if he makes it happen.

    yeh...wembely...olimpics... even the O2 arena (millennium dome) all took ****ing ages... years.. went way over budgets as well

    Absolutely, the millenium dome was the biggest pile of **** ever but now it holds concerts etc it aint too bad but still a waste of money. Wembley took too long and the main thing(the pitch) is a pile of crap. Olympics well time will tell with that one.

    Im guessing it wouldnt be a full fledged stadium. Its the type that you can put together and take down in a short amount of time. Its just the stands so to speak.

    Anyway its perfectly doable, if this rumor is to be believed.
