I think it's shady on Pacquiao's camp to force Cotto/Mosley to drop down to an unhealthy weight where they won't be abe to perform the same. Either move up in weight legitimetely like past greats have or don't move up at all. The whole glory associated with moving up in weight has to do with a fighter conquering a new division, only willing to do it half way defeats the purpose.

    Be honest.

Pac-Mosley at 143 is not fair for Mosley. He'll prolly take it for the money. But not good for boxing.

I agree...either 140 or 147 and thats final...I hate these "catchweight"bouts b/c someone always complains about weight...like they dont have enough weight classes already!!I am starting to smell a rat with the Pac mans camp!

Pac's best weight is at 140. He only has one or two fights till he retires and there's no huge fights at 140.

So if he did what everyone else wanted he'd have to go up to 147. But then we we'll see an 80% Pac against bigger 100% welters.

By agreeing on catchweight it evens the field. Nothing wrong with that in my mind.

Negotiations is part of the battle, thats how Leonard beat Hagler. If Pacman isnt able to get a fight with Mosely or Cotto by the end of the year, we know who to blame.

Pac has made me a huge fan over the past few years but I'm losing patience with him over this. Just all seems a bit too crafty for my liking.

I still prefer Pac to fight Cotto at 145. A victory against 37 year old Mosley in 143 means nothing to his legacy.

I second that. He just need to man up and fight Cotto at 145. If thats not the case he will lose a lot of fans cause above all we are the ones that deserve to see the best fighting on their best.

Pac vs Cotto will happen. It will happen at 145 which is in Cotto's advantage. Pacquiao will beat him out anyways. People will forget that they criticized Pacquiao for forcing Cotto to come down to 143 although it was bull****. They haters will keep hating no matter what.

But it doesnt even the field it tilts it in Pac favor...So what your saying is that a 60% welterweight cutting too much weight makes it easier for Pac to win..There is a reason that Cotto left 140 because he couldnt make the weight, we saw how weakened Cotto was in his last few fights at the weight. In the case of Mosley its been 10 years since he has been lower then Welterweight in 20 fights since moving up in weight he has fought half of those over the welterweight limit. Cutting down to 143 only hurts Shane. Puts Shane is the welterweight champion, and he shouldnt have to cut weight to fight for his title, if Pac wants to fight for the title he needs to fight at the weight..Were does it stop??? Say Pac were to fight and beat Shane should then the mandated fighter have to cut to 143 to fight for the welterweight(147) title??? Its ******ed.

Pac fans care nothing about that, they are only interested in seeing Pac pick bones of weight drained fighters that are half the fighter they would be a mere few pounds higher in weight.:hey
