There are factors here, Mosley had his ass dominated by Floyd then fought Mora and didnt look very good, fans lost intrest in Mosley but even then the numbers did okay considering the circumstances.

I know the fight was on HBO and thats my point, if your the draw you should be on PPV even fighting a nobody... I mean Pacquiao fought Solis on PPV, DLH could fight anybody he wanted to and it would be on PPV.
You cant say the same for Mayweather, if he were a big enough draw he wouldnt have any problem selling his very own name regardless of who he fights... but it doesnt work that way does it?

no one is disputing floyd is the bigger draw but pacquaio is right there with him plus his fights are more exciting. Pac draw people cuz of his style, floyd just talks alot and his fights are boring.

I am not down playing Mayweather I am speaking the truth, you cant say you speak for everybody in the UK, your going to tell me that all those people tuned in just for Floyd? Are you ****ing serious? I am sure some did but the majority over there tuned in to watch Hatton.

There is another guy that brought Mayweather and Pacquiao to those heights and is name is Oscar Dela Hoya. So until either of them draw more than Dela Hoya on their own STFU! about who is the bigger draw.

    A) where did I say I spoke for everyone in the UK?

    B) ofcourse you are right tonnes of Hatton fans tuned in to see him fight the fight of his career.

My point is love him or hate Mayweather brings them out for PPV and he is the biggest draw and I wasnt refering to you personally downplaying his results I was refering to Pac tards.....

How can you say Floyd didn't play a big part when Hatton could never get that many people to watch him fight if he was fighting anyone else but floyd? Floyd may be hated by many on this forum, but many casual fans see him as the most talented fighter in the world. Fans want to see the best in any sport.

Thats all I wanted is some pac fans to stop making excuses and call a spade a spade!

Pac is definately more exciting to alot of people, but PPV isn't always about most exciting other wise Mickey Ward vs Gatti (or Coralles vs Castillo or pick any other war ) may well hold the highest figure....

Im being very specific (and fair) in what I am saying here....

Who gives a **** what the numbers are, I would care if it was the only thing holding up the May vs Pac fight because they were arguing over the split, but its not even to that point so who cares.

I agree Floyd brings big numbers but I am not giving him all the credit, Not when you have a kid from Manchester who has a following that is willing to travel over the atlantic to see him... Hatton brings numbers as well, and the combination of the 2 is what made these numbers what they are now.

I didnt say he wasnt a big part, I just wont go out of my way and say he is the only reason those numbers are so high cus that isnt true neither.
He is the most talented fighter, and your right fans do want to see the best in the sport, but there are also fans that tuned in from the oppossing corner, and that is something *****s need to realize, Floyd does great numbers no doubt, but give credit where its due, he doesnt do them by himself.

So now Mayweather has more fans?

Seriously Ceej, may I please invite you to our humble abode during Pac and JMM's fight on November?
You will see that every street of the country is empty.
Since I know that Pac will brutalized JMM to a bloody pulp, I'll drive you around during the fight and believe me, traffic will be non-existent.

Problem is, this is a third world country.

So people don't buy those PPV's since:

    1. The price is ridiculous. It's an entire week's worth of a poor family's cost of living here already.
    2. Local cinemas show it live for a measly 10USD, lunch/breakfast included. Other local bars and restaurants also show it for free if you pay their sites a visit during the fight.
    3. On almost all districts (especially rural and poor areas), there will be a live broadcast on some gym or empty lot or whatever. Local officials spearhead these.
    4. People like me can see it for free on the internet. You just need the right connections. As you are aware of, cyber crimes are rarely punished here (and perhaps all other 3rd world countries).

The Philippines is the 12th most heavily populated country in the world.
    92 million and counting.
    Now go figure.
(Mexico is the 11th with 107million, we both know who they support outside of their local fighters, right?)

Is Mayweather strictly (on a sales basis) the PPV king?
    You betcha.
But you are dreaming if you remotely think that he has more fans, "silent" or not.

No one can do it on their own, but there is a common factor there and its Floyd!

People would watch Floyd vs Manny cos Im telling you Floyd would **** people off something crazy with his trash talk and he would bring those fans in who wouldnt normally buy cos they want to see him get his ass kick or they want to see if he can back it up!

Either way Floyd knows how to sell a fight and its by no accident he gets the biggest numbers.

I was poking fun at *******s and Im right to do so cos they can never admit anything where Mayweather is concerned.
