Pacquiao vs Mosley is a terrible fight. Arum is taking liberties. I want Pac-JMM 3.

Even though JMM is a small lightweight by any standard, my first choice would be JMM-Pac at 140. Marquez has earned this fight and, regardless of weight, he has the style to cause Pac the most problems.

I really don't think Pac-Shane would out-sell Pac-JMM III. Shane has never been a big draw and with 24/7, HBO could use their first two fights to build a third JMM fight into a monster. Is anyone seriously going to tell me that the casual fan would care more about Shane or Berto? I don't buy that.

Pacquiao vs Marquez III at 140lbs > Pacquiao vs Berto at 147lbs > Pacquiao vs Mosley at 147lbs > Pacquiao vs Marquez III at 147lbs

BE Mosley is an old fighter that took quite a beating by Floyd. He is not getting any better from that. His confidence and brain were shattered

I swear if it seems Pacquiao will be facing JMM there will be threads that say he is ducking a slick african-american boxer that has never been KO, or that he's ducking the formidable undefeated Berto. If it's Berto there will be threads that say Pacquiao is again cherrypicking on a green inexperienced fighter instead of Mosley who has the greater chance of defeating him.

You mean like they were after Forrest? Or Wright? Or Cotto? Mosley looks like a beast against certain kinds of fighters and like a frustrated rat in a cage against others. This wasn't any different years ago. Floyd is a defensive elite. Pacquiao is an offensive elite. Mosley is an offensive elite. SMF, my brother.

Why dont we have JMM-Mosley for the opportunity to fight Pac? Better yet, JMM VS anyone with a pulse at 140/147.

Right now, Marquez is a better lightweight than Mosley is a welterweight or a light-middleweight. That's why Marquez defeats B-class opposition in style (Diaz and Katsidis) and why Mosley struggles with C-class opposition (Mora). Mosley is further past his prime than Marquez is.

He didnt gas against Mayweather, he was just mentally lost once Mayweather established the range. He will do better against Pac because it will be a wide open brawl. The fight will be more exciting too because at least Mosley has some size where Marquez will just be physically outclassed now that Pac is a full fledged welterweight. Both fights suck, but if I had a choice Id rather see Mosley.
