Pacquiao vs Mosley is a terrible fight. Arum is taking liberties. I want Pac-JMM 3.

Pac could easily make 140, considering he weighed in at 144 in his previous fight when he was not held to a 147 limit. Marquez could weigh anywhere between 135 and 140, and then both could be at their optimum in-ring weights (JMM 145, Pac 148) on the night. It's a far more exciting fight than Pac using 40 year old Mosley's head as a punchbag.

If you don't think Shane tired vs Floyd, go watch Shane-Oscar 1, and then tell me Shane's stamina hasn't declined MASSIVELY since his prime.

Mark my words, if Pac and Mosley fight Mosley will look like a spring chicken until the fight ends. Its mentally more tiresome to try and close the gap against someone like Floyd, than it is to just fight as he did against DLH too.

Pac has fought JMM 2x already, I want to see him against somebody else.

Berto would be fine, Mosley would be fine.... and if JMM couldn't defeat Pacquiao at the lower weights back then, I don't see how JMM has any chance now.

Yes, but it is physically far more tiring to fight someone like Pacquiao than it is to fight someone like Mayweather. That's why guys like Cotto and Margarito are a mess by the time their fights with Pac ends, whereas guys like Marquez and Mosley make the final bell comfortably against Floyd.

I'll happily make a bet with you that Shane Mosley gets stopped in this fight. After a few rounds of Pacquiao intensity, he will be exhausted and shipping punishment.

What many people fail to realize, is that fighting Manny above 135 will be no different, in terms of weight, to the Manny he fought back down at super featherweight. He weighed around 148 on the night then, and he'll weigh around 148 on the night this time round.

However, the main difference is, at 140-147 JMM will be facing a Manny who won't be draining himself in preperation.

    That's all.

we have seen mosley with mayweather..lets see what he can do now with the
pacman to fairly see who could handle mosley very well..its funny to think just
recently mosley would give mayweather a good fight..now after that we are
assuming that it would be terrible because you think the pacman is too much
for him.on the contrary it is marquez who will be in a lopsided position if he
fights the pacman.why ? if he goes down w/katsidis punch who is slow,,how
much more ,,if the left and right of pacman who could put cotto down and
mangled margarito's face landed on him,,,ooops..dont think of their past fights
    again:hi:

Pac still has 2-3 years of activity. He can fight Marquez after Mosley. Or Mosley if he chose Marquez now. Another year of waiting for either of two won't matter as they are both old anyway.

If Mayweather find his balls (which he calls urge), it will of course take top priority.

I believe Mosley will get stopped too, but I dont think he will be as physically taxed as he was against Mayweather. The frustration of getting punched every time he set made him appear to just give up. If he fights Pac he will be able to let his hands go more.

This, my friend, is why we have weight classes. Manny will not fight below 147 again so JMM will need to prove that he can be competitive in that weight range. How about JMM vs Berto, Collazo or Malignaggi at 147? This would create a real buzz for a possible JMM-Pac clash if he won.

If you want to see Marquez leave the sport on a stretcher then yes, a third Pacquiao fight could be an option.

berto is the real fight for manny or mayweather.since the topic is about manny i say manny should fight berto hes the real challenge.now if we are talking about for the money then go fight mosley, and if we are talking about a rivial ? make him fight at 147 and beat him up.

everyone wants to berto to fight the silver wbc champion, im tired of those fights.throw berto in with the lions already.

He will tire worse vs Pac. A 40 year old man is not capable of coping with the extreme intensity, pressure, pace and punishment of a whirlwind like Pacquiao. By the middle rounds, he'll be so faded that either the referee or Naazim will save him.

The only reason, IMO, Arum wants SSM is because he doesn't want to deal w/ GBP. I would like to see JMM/Pac @ a catch weight within the WW div. because this is the only possible way this 2 will meet. Forget about Pac going down to 140. Why should he?
