    This.

Arum is the best businessman in boxing. He won't alienate HBO based on a personal difference and emotion. Would be great if he did take all of his fighters' bouts including Pac's remaining fights to Showtime to give HBO a much needed kick in the butt. But it won't happen.

HBO probably wanted nothing to do with this garbage. Who could blame them?

HBO BAD and Showtime are the better ones. HBO Championship boxing is just horrible.

I agree, competition is good. Now we can get some better cards.

Arum is smart bro. Maybe he's thought this through a little bit more than you have

Showtime boxing is getting bigger and bigger and is backed by a giant.

Of course HBO wanted to be involved with the biggest active draw in the sport for a fight that almost certainly would have made them and their parent company tens of millions of dollars. It would be foolish of them to not be interested.

Or maybe hes making a mistake. I dont really care eather way, I prefer Showtime to HBO.

But its not rocket science... GBP will reep the rewards of an Arum-less HBO. While Arum fights will recieve less main stream exposure on Showtime then they were getting on HBO.

Its not the end of the world for Arum, plenty of big fights have been made on Showtime, Tyson's for example... Still not the best move IMO. That being said, whatdoIknow... really.

HBO paid $3M for a snoozefest like Tarver-Dawson which sold only a few hundred ticket seats on the venue lol. Then HBO paid $1.2M for Berto-Hernandez or whatever his name was which was actually just an undercard fight. But it wouldn't pay $1.5M for Cotto-Martirosyan, a compelling 154lbs championship match. then it turned down Cotto-Mayorga as well. For Top rank, that's just bull****. Arum went mad and goes out on his shield lol

HBO will never get its hand on Gamboa, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., JM Lopez, and Donaire again. heads will roll inside the HBO office
