It's kind of hard to say. I guess the one with most power and chin is going to take this one. Both men throws a lot punches.
Pryor (black bottle version) Decisions the current PacMan. Ah **** it, this fight could go either way though.
Not too sure how you match up an ATG at 140, versus an ATG weight jumper with one fight at the 140 limit. Your thread will probably pan out with a lot of people saying Pryor, and a lot saying Pacquiao. People who vote Pryor will mock those who say Manny, then the Manny fans will get upset and start saying "Manny always loses fantasy matches".
that would make weightjumpers difficult to match vs anyone in fantasymatch ups in a division where they didnt spent much time, like pac at 135,140 or 154. But Pac is basically a lightweight at this point fighting as a welter, he could easily fight at 140. So pac from the hatton fight is what we have to go with here just to be fair. I do think it would be a epic match, steward also said it would be his favourite fantasy match up.
Kind of hard to say.....but I went with Pryor...just b/c he's one of my favorite of all time and he was simply a ****ing monster. He was the first PAC MAN!
Naturally when you have two active fighters who get hit a fair bit then you have sparks, yet...Pryor has the experience at this weight, hes the natural here. Whereas with Manny you have very good (great) showings against David Diaz, Corpse Oscar and Ricky Hatton once hes had his only fight at 140. The you bring in physical strength, the speed and power both fighters, both fighters underrated ability to box. I'd go with Pryor on the basis that I'd always take an ATG at one weight to beat a guy who hasn't spent the portion of his career floating around that weight class and who hasn't had more than one fight at 140.
Pryor was iron chinned and iron willed fighter that could box when he needed to. I can't see him getting stopped by Pac. I can see Pac take the decision punishing him badly on the way though
I suppose I should have been more technical in my statement. I see it as a Cotto-esque stop, Pryor bruised up and bloodied, not floored.
I wasn't overly impressed with Pryor's performances against southpaws, which makes me tend to favor Manny. It'd be a war though, with both guys taking a lot of punishment.
