When will these stupid Legendary Nights myths end? Leonard offered Pryor a fight for half a million dollars. You can call it a "low-ball" offer if you want, but it was far more than Pryor had ever made for a fight. Just for a comparison, Pryor made $50k for the title-winning fight against Cervantes. And the offer was not outrageously low considering that more well-known guys like Benitez and Duran (first bout) got in the $1 to 1.5 million area for their fights with Leonard. Pryor wanted more money, and turned it down.
:think:think Wow this about a pickem fight.... A couple years ago i would have picked Picked Pryor big but, i just think Manny has improved some and learned to fight at these higher weights with intelligence, and also seemed to carry his chin up with him.. He seems more disciplined now.. He still gets hit but hes not as reckless..... If forced to pick a winner ill have to lean towards Pac, as i think hes added new dimensions and actually more well rounded than Pryor, but they are gonna war and not even Manny is gonna outfight Pryor.... But dont know if id put money on this.... I can see a late stoppage for either guy... But if Pac uses angles ,fights disciplined and boxes more than brawls he would probably takes a close decision..... I think both guys probably go down in the fight.
Hold on...Let me read and find where I said that. Reading, Reading, Reading, Uh there it is, Oh Wait...I NEVER SAID THAT ****!!!!
