Rios is **** man. His best win is a C level Alvarado who he lost to in an immediate rematch. He's 1-2 in his last 3 and has looked vulnerable and been hurt vs many others. Pac will steamroll this guy with ease, Hatton was 100x the fighter Rios is and even though Pacs not the same, Rios is tailor made with no D and come forward style that will leave him comatose in no time. bum bum Rios couldn't beat Pac in a wheelchair. Alvaraso would have been better but even that's ****. There are plenty of better and more credible fighters Pac could have beaten on....why not whup Amir or Alexander or Berto or Guererro or Garcia or Maidana....... Pac would beat all these guys still and would get more credit than he will for bum bum.

eh. It's an action fight I'll give it that. What I'm more interested in is seeing it to gauge the damage done by Marquez

Fight is a one sided beat down. It's a cool fight for PAC to return. But don't act like it some 50/50 fight. PAC gonna beat the **** out of flat footed rios and look like superman again.

You guys cry about one sided fights then applaud this match up. The irony.:rofl

As usual, I'm in the minority here but I just don't like these kinds of fights. Arum knows that Bam-Bam's stock has dropped and would never beat any version of Pacman. Anyone who doesn't see this as a cashout fight for Rios is delusional.

This fight is so cheap, it's going to be Made in China.

It's an intriguing fight for anyone but little Floyd fanboys.

btw any real boxing fan can appreciate both fighters.

Nobody said it wasn't intriguing. It is after all two losers with no skills going to bang it out. Basically a tough man contest. We want to know who sucks more Pac or Rios? Oh man if Rios wins by KO, that would be hilarious.

Sure it will be an intriguing match up, if you find Pacquiao hitting a punching bag intriguing, yeah it will be intriguing.

This is just a fight for Team Pacquiao and Arum to say "Look! Pacquiao is back in form, the old Pac is back. He adjusted what was causing problems and that is why he looked so great."

The only adjustments they are going to make is the opponent style selection. You thought the Margarito fight was a beat down, this will be murder.

ffs how many fighters in history get brutally ktfo and come back in their first fight against a world class (he is, don't argue) heavy hitting opponent.

    go on name them.

Well he did pick an opponent from a lower weight class...

...Unless you think that Rios is a big punching welterweight. His power wasn't even that impressive at 140; he's more of a volume puncher. Let's not act like he's Matthysse or something.

    why would he pick lucas?

why hold him to such a ridiculous standard?

what over fighters would get the same treatment?

remember, arum is the snake ****, not manny.

Because who's at 140 who isn't with Golden Boy?

At 147, Rios cuts even less, which means he'll be even bigger than usual. He enters the ring 10lbs larger than Pacquiao, even when he is cutting to 140. Imagine what 7lbs gives him.

Pacman picked an opponent who will definetly test if the JMM knockout weakened or diminished him. You have to like fighters like Rios. They might not be the quickest guys or use boxing skills, but they always come to fight and have a lot of heart and excitement.

You realized every fighter you just listed is signed with Golden Boy, right?
