Source? If true it's a joke, surely Alvarado is a better option or the guy Bradley just faced for Pac to batter him to hype a Bradley rematch.
Would have prefered if Alvarado fought Pac. Mike must be thinking WTF, I should get that shot. Also I think Rios would have benefited from fighting someone else hes coming off a loss. Is there a venue confirmed???
sort of the truth. The guy who wins doesn't get the big fight. Although Rios vs. Pacman is a more exciting fight to be honest. This is a risky fight for Pacman, yet his handspeed is just to much for Rios.
Can't find this confirmation anywhere. If Pacquaio has 40% left which I expect he has, then he stops Rios. Brandon had trouble with the movement of ALVARADO.
Good matchup. Pac's career is on life-support having experienced almost three back-to-back losses, and so matching him up with a bitter Rios who's durability is second-to-none, will be a good parameter to see what Pac has left. It'll be an action-packed fight.
Alvarado likely gets the winner. He'll fight at home, get a big crowd. Rios and Pac fight in Macau and the winner takes on Alvarado. Arum gets himself three nice in-house fights.
Don't feel too sorry for Alvarado. It's not like he's being left completely out to dry. He'll likely be rewarded with a winnable opponent next -- to help recover from the back-to-back wars he's been having -- and still be in the mix for Bradley, JMM and the Pac-Rios winner. Bob Arum has to make the most out of these few WWs he has left. The last thing he'll do is keep one of them out of contention.
