If Pacquiao and the De La Hoya who fought Vargas met at 154lbs, who would win?

Pacquiao probably wouldn't weigh in more than 150lbs, that being said I think Pacquiao would be way too fast for De La Hoya and would still beat him in a close decision.

    Thoughts?

Oscar by KO. He was actually alive and pulling the trigger back then.

I'm one of the few who think Shane and Oscar beat both Floyd and Manny (Oscar does better with Floyd and Shane better when Pac, but I still favor both in their physical primes to beat them.)

Pacquiao's a beast at welter. I think he manages to win a competitive decision even against that version of Oscar.

It's close but Oscar might be too big and too strong for Pac... even though margarito was too.... Oscar actually has skills to add to that... and a left hook

    Pacquiao UD.

Too much foot speed for DLH. But i think it would be close. Pacman can take a punch. He proved it against Cotto, Clottey and Margarito.

Tough call. Oscar doesn't have a good right hand counter and is left handed and that doesn't bode well against Pacquiao.
But he's got speed, power, footwork and a great jab to keep him at bay.

I was going to say Pacquiao, but after thinking about it, I think Oscar with the right gameplan pulls it off

De La Hoya by late stoppage. This is not the weight drained version of De La Hoya that Pacquiao beat.
