He didn't. Keith outlanded Pac and fought extremely even with him especially once he got his sea legs under him, by any objective measurement (including the actual scorecards).

This is one of those fights that was close as hell but as time passes, it becomes seen as less and less of a 51/49 war and more of a dominating performance (which absolutely wasn't the case) by the winner. All praises due to the Pac-man though, he showed why he's an ATG.

Pacquiao gassed in the later half of the fight, which lead to some savage shots landed by Thurman. They were very eye-catching, but Pacquiao was never hurt. Pacquiao was right there with him trading blows.

Pacquiao basically beat Thurman to a bloody pulp. Credit to Thurman for surviving and being competitive due to his exceptional conditioning and size.

It was a great fight. Pac man set the tone early with the knockdown in the first. But Keith made it a fight after the 6th and came on strong in the championship rounds. Manny's experience played a big part to get the W

Thurman wasn't prime! Young, sure. Prime? Nah.

Watch how explosive he was against Porter & Garcia. Nothing like this performance.

The stuff of legends from Pacman once again. It was a fun fight, both men brought their A game, and it was very competitive.

Huh? Thurman looked great. He was unleashing excellent combos with power and speed. Pac is a level or two above Danny and Shawn even at his age.

When someones resume is measured by Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter, how good is he really? Nothing against Porter or Garcia but they're just players on a table of mediocrity. I thought Thurman had youth on his side vs Manny but that wasn't enough. Even a faded grandpa Pac is more than enough for these youngens.

I predicted that Thurman will retire Pacquiao. I admitted that I underestimated Pacquiao. After I saw Thurman got knocked down in round 1, I said to myself that his 0 will go after this fight. I was terribly wrong with my prediction.

Stop promoting competitions on these boards. If you want tos brag about someone predicting the correct outcome of this fight, then brag on me. I actually predicted a Pacquiao like a week before he did.:deal:
