Who wins this between Pacquiao now and prime Trinidad at welterweight?

I'd take Trinidad, but I wouldn't bet the mortgage on him.

Pac, Shane, and AAbraham are my favs, but prime Tito had more power than Pac and a puncher would be a nightmare style for a swarmer like Pac. I also believe Tito would handle Pac's punches much better than Pac handling Tito's. Tito by a UD or ko for sure. I see Pac outworking him, even wobbling or dropping Tito, but once Pac gets caught with only one shot, he'd get seriously hurt, and even tho Tito was not a one punch ko artist, he was one of the best finishers and would pounce on Pac to finish him off. Tito wins no doubt in my mind.

Tito would knock him out. Pac's a little too small and a little too hittable to bang with Tito.

Every fight at these weight is another step forward for Manny's H2H status at 140-147....dont think Im brave enough to put him on Tito's level though.

yup, if trinidad landed the punches clottey or cotto did (and he would), pac would be seeing stars.

Pac is still a bit too easy to hit and maybe a bit too small to face a guy like Trinidad, who would have made Cotto look small.

If Pac stayed mobile and darted about like im sure would be his plan, i think the first couple rounds would be quite interesting, and would be a great lil war for awhile, but Titos pressure, size, and power would get to Pac IMO, and sooner or later pac would go toe to toe with Tito, and when that happens, Titos left hook will find its mark, and i think Trinidad hurts Pac around the 4th on and off, but pacs toughness, chin and heart allow him to continue, but the ref stops the fight after pac is knocked down twice in the 9th and calls a halt, Tito the winner by TKO stoppage IMO.

Nothing against Pac, just too small IMO in this matchup against a prime great welter, and i think its a bit much to ask a guy who should be fighting at 135 to be beating truly Great Welters and big ones at that like Tito.

Tito is a huge ww, Pac is too small. The right hand would land and pac would be done.

pacs a greater fighter- but not a true welter- he s about 2 divisions above his best- which shows how great he is. tito however , is the prototypical welter. gotta go with tito as the favourite- although pac has a way of making fools of us all.
