Hatton swarmed him and overwhelmed him,he also took tons of his power shots.i cant find any case for tszyu winning this matchup
Manny Pacquiao might've been the first fighter to actually punch a humans head off if he fought Kostya.
I think Manny just too fast, too many angles, too much activity. He just wears Kostya down and stops him late in the fight.
KT looses 90% of his offense due to Pac's foot work. KT was an awesome fighter if he was at the right distance but, Pac would keep KT moving and not allowing him to get set and walk KT right into a big punch.
hesitant pick for pacquiao. tszyu was great but manny was constant motion, made you have to counter. always on your toes with him. let's go with pacquiao, two out of three.. maybe.
Zoo had a great right hand, better than JMM. Once he timed Manny, I think he would have knocked him out. Speed didn't bother Zoo that much; prime Judah was fast as hell, if he was slower than Manny it was only marginally so. I'd roll with Zoo finding Manny's chin and knocking him out. I think people here are over-estimating Manny's power. It was not that great past Lightweight. I would have bet money he wouldn't have knocked Kostya out. Also, Manny was pretty terrible on the inside, which is what I think gave Zoo the most problems in his career.
As great as KT was, Marquez was arguably better and it took him almost 42 rounds to time Manny with that perfect right! I don't see KT doing that within 12! Also Marquez was a superior counter puncher. KT needed to be at the right distance to do his work. Both his loses were do in part to his opponents not allowing him to fight his fight. far lesser opponents were able to do this and I believe Pac would do the same with his fast feet, fast hands and unorthodox punching angles.
Tszyu was the best fighter of southpaws I have ever seen! Manny charges forward and would get Koed (Roach actually has his fighters walk towards the opponents right hand). Styles make fights. Tszyu was coming off a shoulder and Achilles operation when he fought Hatton hardly an ideal preparation
A Kostya Tyszu win isn't totally impossible! He's a great counter puncher and has a great 1-2 with a lot of power behind it. It would be very interesting however long it lasted!
