Valero was a single fight from fighting Pacquiao. OH. MY. GOD. It would have been a holy, bloody war and I'm not so sure that Pacquiao would have been able to withstand Valero's power...

Really, I dont see how anyone with sense will think theyve seen Valeros attributes tested enough to pick him over a proven commodity like a prime Pac.

Only one thing is for certain in this fight and that is it would have been beautifuly violent.

Dude. Mikey Garcia said that Valero was the HARDEST puncher he ever sparred with. And Mikey has sparred Rios and Maidana, both of whom are very hard hitting welters. So we know the power is real and off the charts.

And did you see the DeMarco fight? Dude has INSANE will and determination. His freaking skull was exposed from an elbow.

Sneaky speed, insane power, awkward, psychotic...

Pacquiao is on another level. Valero may have the power and intangibles, but it ain't enough. I learned not to doubt Pacquiao against opponents who came straight in against him. He eats those types of fighters up for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

i honestly have only seen highlights of valero though his record is impressive and he clearly possessed scary power, i feel pacs resume and experience at that point clearly give him the edge, def the more proven of the two. also valeros style would not bode well against pac

I personally know a journeyman that sparred valero, he was in disbelief of how powerful he was. He said he felt drunk for days.

I still favor pacquiao by ko. We didn't see enough of valero

what was his power like? was it a thudding punch? where it feels like his fist was a heavy blunt object? or was it a cracking whip punch?

there was a pro that used to come by the gym i used to train he was from iran originally this guy was like 1 weight division above me i never sparred him but my mate did, he said he hit un naturally hard. like hed take a body shot and the opposite side of his body would quake and rock violently. i kinda wish i did a few rounds with him i would have loved to know what that power feels like first hand

Dude, Valero wasn't a speed demon w/ blazing fast handspeed, so obviously it's gonna be of the sledgehammer variety and not snap (like Pac's).

Pac didn't seem to want the fight but that alone doesn't mean he woulda lost

Hard to say really since we don't know how good Valero was

I bet it would have been a war

Valero is made for him. Pac eats that type of guy for breakfast.
