Pacquiao vs. Vasquez/Marquez at 122

Pacquiao, at 122, would have knocked Marquez and Vazquez out

 

You've (we've) never seen Rafael hit anybody except Izzy at 122. Izzy has an iron chin. So it's hard to say definitively, wouldn't you say? What iron-chinned elite did Pacquiao knock out at 122 that makes his seem such a clear cut above Rafael's power?

 

Pac has been KD at 122 so he doesnt have an iron chin. With Vazquez power I could see an Izzy KO since Pac defense sucks and he was very crude at that wieght. Im not sure about pac's competiton at 122 but I doubt he faced anyone as good as an Izzy or Rafa.

i have seen this before and i didn't now that it was vasquez.
they are having fun in sparring but it was clear that pac outclassed vasquez with his speed. it was quite hilarious when vasquez gives pac a knee (ala mma) after the bell at the end of the session.

 

Izy was Koed By Larios. Struggled with Gonzales. He cuts easily. He's no Iron chinned.

Pac was down only in Hussein fight but recovered right away Then Dominates hussein. He got flash KD with the russian guy but not hurt t all. Only the dirty sanchez escaped Pac's fury at 122.

 

I see Pac beating Vasquez at this weight, but Marquez would be even money in my mind if he fought a smart fight and boxed.

 

From what I heard, Pac was kicking his ass.

 

Where did you hear this?

 

We're not talking about Pac's chin at 122, we're talking about his KO power over elite-level fighters at 122. How many did he fight, let alone knock out? It's certainly not a mark against Rafael's power that he couldn't KO a bigger, stronger, durable elite in Vazquez.

 

The way I look at that is, Rafael is less disciplined and more prone to being sucked into displays of machismo than his brother (who was more or less evenly matched with Pac, take away the knockdowns and he won a close decision with only a couple points lead) - and if anyone can lure you into a slugfest it's Pac. Can Rafael counterpunch his way to a victory over Pac? Sure he has the ability. More likely though, he would get himself KOed. Vazquez-Pac is more of a mystery...could go the distance and either guy could win or either guy could be stopped.

At 122 pac has a good change of beating Vasquez with his surperior speed and a agression with i think but with Marquez he will have more troble because of his boxing abilty.

 

Pac is most impressive at 122. Just look at their common opponents like Ledwaba. Rafa hasn't proven anything at 122. All his fights are with Vasquez.
