They just replayed the MP-EM II fight here, and I gotta disagree. EM wasnt beating MP's ass early in that fight. EM got rocked hard a couple of times before the second half of the fight. EM winning 4 to 5 out of the first 6 is not really accurate. It was nip and tuck, with MP inflicting the worse damage. Watch it again if you can.
Actually Im watching it again right now I´ll give you the answer when Im done, but as far as I remember Morales was doing a job on Pacquiao before his legs started to fail him.
I´ve seen it a couple of time, but because of ******ed people like you, Im watching it again right now.
Atleast morales has the guts to have a 3rd fight unlike MAB to does not want to exercise his rematch clause
Prime for Prime, Morales beats pacman every time. I think this was proven in their 1st bout. That was the last of the many wars el terrible fought. You can clearly see he was shot because the next fight he dropped to zahir and he looked awful. The fight after that was his 2nd and then 3rd to pacman. Pacman cannot for the life of him fight backwards. Morales exploited that, and he would do it every time. If you notice with marquez, he seemed to have more success with his attacks that pushed manny back. Manny gets all his power by going forward. Will floyd exploit this? I dunno if floyd has it in him to fight that way. He had trouble doing this with super judah, and if he tries to box manny it will be a tough night. I still think pretty boy will pull it out either way.
I´ve just watched it again, and I was right, Morales was winning till he started to fade, a prime Morales would have beaten prime Pacquiao any day.
Pacquiao lost to Morales in 2005 I think. Anyways, he was moving up in weight. Morales was already settled in at 130. Also, Pac was cut by a headbutt above the eye in round 5. It was still a close fight, I had Morales winning 115-113 and so did the 3 judges.
Nah, I mean the rematch, mate. I'm a huge Morales fan and the first fight is my favourite from him. I loved seeing him win and the other two fights were both hard to watch. I do think that the idea Pacquiao beat an old man is only half the story though, despite my appreciation for Morales.
It's pretty hard to argue that the 2010version of pAcquiao is the same as the 2006 version . He is much better now
Raheem fight doesn't mean much considering Raheem style, but they choose to ignore this. They talk as if it's for sure that Morales would have beaten Raheem before. Bull****.
