Pacs Feet buckled and he was ready to go down, he was squeezing his stomach in pain. The hand did get a little stuck which you can see but that happened after the first body shot because he wanted to counter immediately... but thats what happens when you are exchanging off the ropes and after this incident pacquiao completely stayed off the ropes and the fight turned into a massacre with pacquiao killing margo in the middle of the ring.

He did run away after this and went into survival mode but because of his great great condition any lesser man would have coward to the floor with those Vicious body shots...ala cintron. Testament to that great training by ariza.

His corner even saw this and you can see them putting a towel on his face to wake him up and telling him to keep on his game plan not to trade and stay off the ropes and be only in the middle where his speed and movement are very effective. After this round Margo taking pac to the ropes did not happen as often because those body shots woke manny up and he would stick only to his gameplan.

Round 6 in the last 30 seconds.

The 2 videos show how close pac was to going down and how he got the hand stuck for a brief second after the first body shot... after the second body shot his body almost dropped and he held his stomach in pain ready to go down after this he ran off the ropes immediately retreating...

If Margo would have kept doing this and taken the fight and saved his energy only to take pac to the ropes it could have gone different but manny is very fast and only wanted to be in the middle so manny did keep in his game plan and exposed Margarito weakness of being slow and come forward in the middle of the ring... Pacquiao just murdered him in the middle of the ring.

Pac said he trained for those shots by doing 2100 situps/crunches a day. Does it all in about 40 minutes with 2 15 second breaks.

if you got hit by a man almost 20lbs bigger than you it hurts!

but that what makes pac great, his fighting spirit and never back down attitude.

Exactly that is a testament to the great training any lesser man would have been done...

Pac did run that whole round to survive and it was what made the fight interesting because he actually faced adversity.. and I loved it. well worth the money this time. unlike that clottey turtle defense guy lol.

The thud from that body shot was so loud... unbelievable that he didn't go down.. even more unbelievable is how fast he recovered

I'm a fan of Pacquiao and Mayweather....

So I don't know what you are talking about...

I do favor Mayweather in a pacquiao bout but it would be a great fight.

Yeah? Pacquiao delt with getting badly hurt by a heavy body shot as well as anyone ever put in that situation.

Not a fan of Pacquiao but his ability to absorb punches and fight through injury is amazing. After the first one landed I knew it was a great shot and when the second one landed with more thud and power I thought Pacquiao was going down. Pacquiao is one tough dude no one can take that away.

I don't know what the big deal is. Fighters, even the greatest defensive ones are going to get hit. You can't expect Pac or Floyd to not take any punishment at some point. Getting hurt just comes with the territory. It's how they recover is what matters. Shame on those who say either Pac or Floyd lost a step as they have been stunned by hard shots in recent times. If anything they proved they're stronger than we thought.

Those are the kind of shots (completely unexpected, and in your 'soft spot') that bring most fighters to their knees. Pac is in a class of his own.

Like I said before in that other thread. Is this even that a big an issue anyways?
Pacquiao just annihilated the best body punchers in and around his weight class in Hatton,Cotto and Margo. Is there another body puncher out there that can finish this supposed weakness of Manny?
