Pacquiao weighing 144 for a 150 lbs fight is worse than floyd being 2 lbs over

Manny pacqauio weighed in at 144 for the antonio margarito fight, which was a 150 pound catch weight.During the 24/7 show they said "We now realize manny won't be able to move all the way up to 150 because he wont keep the same speed".Thats the purpose of a catch weight!Margarito loses some strength, pacqauio loses some speed. And mayweather was two pounds over for the marquez fight,to me pacquaio coming in 6 pounds under the limit is ridculous as well. And nobody ripped pacqauio about it.They got on mayweather's case and not mannys. In my opinion if youre going to have a catch weight fight,NO FIGHTER SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO COME OVER OR UNDER THE LIMIT.

I've heard some really stupid things in my day but you sir have just emerged victorious. Officially the dumbest thing I've heard on ESB.

    not true

you cant weigh two weight classes below the one youre fighting in, or some other stipulations

these are legally sanctioned combats... that wouldnt fly

So by that logic it would have been even more egregious had they fought at 154, eh?

I'm currently in a coffee shop right now and was actually smiling by myself upon reading this thread. this is what you call floyd and his fans trying to twist reality to suit their own.

I understand ur argument but ur not saying it right... But overall catch weights are a ***** move..if u wanna move up then you fight ur opponent at their best..you can weight 140 for a jr middle fight for I care but don't ask your opponent to come in at less then a 100%

RJJ weighed 193 when he fought for the heavyweight title, 7 lbs. UNDER the Cruiserweight limit! What do you say about that then?

Well back then the cruiser limit was 190.

But the TS is obviously trolling, lol.
