Doesn't Floyd have the IRS leaning on him for 6 mil in unpaid taxes? I think he's gonna fight Pac within a year, he might need the cash.

I don't think the fight is a foregone conclusion; purse split and animosity with Arum are huge factors. I'm no defender of Floyd and if the fight doesn't happen I'd likely lay it at his feet, but Scoop is getting carried away and just finding things in thin air...

"The first clue came in a Biofile interview I did with Floyd about three years ago in New York. He actually named Manny Pacquiao as one of his favorite current fighters to watch, and added, “He packs a helluva punch.” At the time, Mayweather did not foresee Pacquiao as a potential future opponent and thus revealed his true opinion of the Pac Man."

That's evidence that Floyd will duck? Come on. That just means he once said Pac was good... not a big stretch. Not to mention, it would be a 135lb Pac he'd be talking about (maybe 130lb). That's not a clue to anything.

If/when FMJ beats JMM and Pac beats Cotto, Pac v FMJ should be easy to make w/ the exception of the money. I don't think they will have any problems agreeing w/ the weight and the venue for the fight. But they must meet to fight immediately after their respective bouts if it is to happen. Long delays or postponements for any reason will kill this fight because I really believe Pac will go into politics in the first half of next year. Pac is already on record stating he would fight the winner of FMJ/JMM. Unfortunately, FMJ has not stated anything about taking on the winner of Pac v Cotto.

Floyd is showing as much interest to fight Pacquiao as he showed to fight Margarito, Cotto, and now Mosley.

Do any of you realize just how stupid it would be for Floyd to fight Pac in his first fight back?

I mean really, he is not the brightest guy in the world, but he not stupid enough to do something like that.

A welterweight ducking a former flyweight would be the ultimate act of cowardice but if anyone can pull that of is Floyd "No Money" Mayweather.

Jeez i thought we were over the former flyweight bs. We all know pac was a teenager at the time and that Mayweather at the same age was around a similar weight. Right now we're talking about a (smallish) welterweight in Mayweather and an established juniorwelterweight, indeed the legit JWW champ in pac. State the facts, please, even if you don't like 'em.

I agree man some people are so biased they only pay attention to one side of the story floyd at 18 was the same weight as pac pac was at flyweight when he was like 16. kill the nonsense please he was golden gloves champ around that time and pac was a pour malnourished teen because he was poor at that age give them both props and even now pac at junior welter comes in at like 148 fight night and as a welter floyd comes in at 149 150 fight night pacs not that small

Man you ain't the only one that is getting sick and tired with dumb Pacquiao fans keep mentioning Pacquiao is a former flyweight. Pac was a teenager on that time and he didn't beat anyfighter in that weight worth a damn so shut up already with flyweight garbage. And good lord Mayweather is ducking to fight Pacquiao?
