in a very hard fight, heart and mental toughness will also come into play. i'm just saying that pac seems to have the advantage in these areas, having been in great wars w/ great fighters in his career. pac has definitely been tested time and again and has overcome adversity with his heart and fighting spirit. can we say the same thing about pbf or will he crack if pac finds success either early or late in the fight?

You seem to be forgetting something here. Pacquiao will be getting hit too. How much gas will he have after getting hit harder than he has ever been hit before. Answer that one...:deal
Actually ask Hatton lol who even said after the Mayweather fight that he could feel the difference in Mayweather's dig compared to any other fighters he had previously fought

    Has he though?

Anytime Pac's been in a war he's lost - both Marquez fights and the first Morales fight

Pacs wins have been largely one sided

We dont know what Floyd would be like in that situation, but Pacs hardly proven himself time and time again

harder than he's been hit before?! when did pbf all of a sudden become a power puncher?! :huh

the difference is that when pac gets hit, he just keeps fighting back as there is simply no quit on this guy. can you say the same thing about mayweather when he gets hit? and believe me he will get hit by that blindingly fast and accurate left of pac's as he won't see them coming. answer me that... :deal

Effective punches my ass. Judah was the one bleeding out his nose, mouth and ass.

He landed about 4-5 good shots. Floyd out landed nd out worked him. you could possibly give rounds 1,2 and 4 to Judah but certainly not all 4. Floyd pretty much caked Judah in round 3.

Mayweather has a KO percentage of 64. Pac has a KO percentage of 67. And Pac has fought alot more bums then Mayweather has.
2 broken ribs against Castillo says yeah.

Floyd will beat Pacquiao by using the same tactics he applied against Judah, he will be a sharp shooter and counter the **** out of Pac and eventually Pacquiao will start to look like Rashad Evans against Machida and be frustrated because he cant crack the puzzle infront of him. Pacquiao was able to somewhat crack the puzzle Marquez presented because Marquez does not have as good a defence as Mayweather's. I mean what makes you people think that Pacquiao is this beast. ****, if he cant even stop Marquez after knocking him down 3 times what makes you think he can stop Mayweather. Anybody who thinks Pacquiao will stop Mayweather is drawn into nothing more than the hype. He will be broken down after 6 rounds and then Mayweather will lay the ground work early to stop him late maybe in the 11th round. Pacquiao is going to be hit and hit frequently in this fight and if Pacquiao gets cut he is finished. I saw a lot of flaws of Pacs in both Marquez fights and I dont care what Freddie Roach has been showing Pac, once Pac is fatigued he will make the same old mistakes and get stopped.

Demarcus Corley...He got hit real hard in that fight and still he weathered it and then dominated Corley.

I never said Floyd is a power puncher but Floyd technically throws his punches properly and he is a solid puncher and Pac wont just keep coming forward after tasting some real hard straight rights during that fight.

Judah found that out and so did Ricky Hatton.
If they have on 8 ounce gloves too it will be a ****ing massacre.

see the ledwaba and sasakul fights... and lest we forget, pac hasn't lost to jmm, one draw and one win.

even in the jmm rematch, pac was cut i think in the 6th and his vision impaired in one eye. but he fought through it and made a late rally to eventually win a very very close fight.

even in the first morales fight, pac fought through a big gash of a cut by a headbutt early in the fight to still make the fight close. there is simply no quit on this guy whether he ends up winning or losing a fight.

If Pac gets cut against Mayweather he is going to be dominated.
The funny thing is, people who actually think Pacquiao is going to just land straight lefts against Mayweather at will are DELUSIONAL LOL. You need to be able to set up those left hands and even in the Hatton fight Pacquiao got hit by a left hand that stopped him in his tracks. I mean if Ricky Hatton managed to find the target what the hell is Mayweather going to do. Mayweather's timing is so sharp that he will sharp shoot Pacquiao until Pacquiao just doesn't know what to do lol. We are going to see Pac coming in and just looking confused and not knowing what punches to throw because he will be getting countered each and everytime and he will be getting hit down to the body too. Mayweather is going to show just how good he really is. People seem to forget how good he is at what he does.

roahc is just talking. hype, hype, hype. this will be an interesting match up but for pac to win. he will have to fight the fight of his life because mayweather will give him more angles then he would have ever seen before. pac has never seen a defensive wizard like mayweather. while he's fought great fighters, none of them were as great as floyd defensively. pac's people know mayweather is an entirely different animal then they have ever faced

pac may be more of a volume puncher (less in recent fights) but he also has uncanny timing and accuracy especially with his left hand, using it as a straight, a hook, a lead or as a counter.

we can debate all we want about this. but all of this will only be resolved if and when both of them actually fight each other. pbf has to go through jmm first though. and that isn't even a guaranteed pbf victory by a long shot. i think jmm has a good chance here, even with all the advantages pbf has in this fight.

Damn, I try not to get sucked into all of the media hype and all of the build up but you cant help but be absorbed right into the heart of it but when assessing fighters you have to be able to forget hype and give an unbiased opinion looking at each one based on what they do good and what they do bad.

Pacquiao has a lot of holes in his game which Mayweather will exploit
Mayweather has no weaknesses in his game apart from this one thing. Workrate. He just simply does not throw enough punches to win a round against someone who is a volume puncher so if Pacquiao is going to win it will be by decision and it will be by outworking mayweather. Pretty much what oscar did early against Mayweather but more effectively and also you need to have an excellent jab against Floyd so you break his rhythm. he can be beat but Pac has to fight a perfect fight, something I have never seen him do against someone as classy as Floyd
