Well then I believe him. When a fighter says he will fight until a certain age, usually he fights longer.

    I agree with your thinking.

I expect he will fight till he's thirty-five (end of 2013).

I wouldn't be surprised if he quit earlier due to some dramatic event.

(E.g. If he killed Floyd in the ring.)

Or he might quit on account of needing a vacation.

    Or losing ' the urge.'

I think Manny loves fighting too much to stop at this point, there's a lot of talk from Roach that he could only have one or two more fights but when Max asked Pacquaio about fighting more he was quick to say yes.

nah. pac will probably laugh at mayweather's punches after taking cotto's, margarito's and clottey's more powerful punches.

mayweather will also have to use his elbows like in the hatton fight to even have a chance to hurt pac.

    I hope he is joking.

The way he fights and trains, I think he will end up worse than Ali.

Fighting at this stage of his career seems to be a lot of fun for manny. Being at this level is something very hard to achieve that's why he will make the most out of it.

Mayweather is an olympic boxer who still has yet to beat a prime WW.
Castillo schooled him in his prime and he has never gona near a prime two handed pressure fighter with power and speed since.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist

Mayweather 41-0 comes back once a year, schools somebody and dissapears again then everyone forgets how good he really is until the next time he steps up

floyd doesn't hurt his opponents with one punch power, he does accumulative damage because he's so accurate.

maybe im wrong sometimes i think people forget just how good he is.Sure you can pick apart his career and find things wrong with it and discredit him but you can do the same with manny and many other boxers dont get me wrong pacman is great but mayweathers greater (my sole opinion of course)

sorry to go off topic anyway I am glad he has some years left in him yet but i agree with the person who posted that the way he fights and trains is surely going to affect him in the future I hope not but its the risk his style brings

Floyd enjoys the finer things in life like stuffing 4 or 5 million dollars in the trunk of his Mercedes then speeding at 100mph, banging Ms. Jackson and having Las Vegas parties with Ray J and 50 cent you know what's up, the man's on vacation. He'll be back soon to KO a couple of fools then retire again.
