whether it's @140 or 147, the result will still be the same. the only diffference is that jmm may last longer if the fight is made @140.

llike i said in a previous post, pac has been fighting much bigger opponents than him in his last 5 fights. he has been able to take their very strong punches while being able to hurt these big guys with his own power.

pac now fights someone (jmm) who is the same size or slightly smaller than him. what do you think will happen to jmm at this point of their careers?

 

You can't just say he will slaughter marquez. It was only 2 years ago that everyone seems to forget that marquez "beat" pac man. Marquez is a great boxer and those are the fighters that can beat pac man. hence Morales before he was shot. And mayweather will do the same.

 

either way it will be a onesided fight. This is a waste of a fight date. They should not fight again.

 

Marquez believes he can win the fight, but I don't think he has much of a chance. Pacquiao is a different animal to the one that fought at 130lbs. I too, like Popkins, believe the fight would end early and in devastating fashion. A guy who struggled with Juan Diaz last time out doesn't have any business being in the ring with Manny Pacquiao.

Pac's power and speed was what was keeping him in the fight with Marquez. He was very close to knocking him out. If Marquez fights a heavier Pac who still has speed, and now has a right hook, that he didn't use vs Marquez as much he will be KO'd in my opinion.

 

The idea that Marquez wants this fight for a pay day is ludicrous. He genuinely believes he can win the fight, and if he lost, he'd be devastated.
