i think pac has a chance here. but he will most certainly be the underdog. he fights well as one though. just look what happened to sasakul, ledwaba and barrera 1.
Everyone realises how weak Diaz was, its more the fading of Hatton than the brilliance of Pac that makes me belive he wins, like i said i pick Torres over Hatton.
Right now i can only see a close decision going either way, since hatton is a shell of his former relentless self and pacquiao will be against a much stronger opponent that will be smothering him, but has the edge in speed.
Ridicolous reaction to the fight. Yes he was impressive but Hatton would have knocked Diaz out in 4 last night. Diaz struggled to beat a guy with a record of 15-4 (1KO) in his last fight If Hatton can close the distance then Hatton wins. If Hatton can close the distance between him and PBF, closing down Pac will be much easier. Hatton will rough him up to win by late TKO or UD.
I used to think so, but Hatton has shown to take too much punishment and he's starting to pay for that style that he has. I think Pac has the ability to throw straight punches ... is very fast - faster than Hatton ... and has just as much power, maybe even more than Hatton. Pac stops Hatton mid rounds ... I'm telling you guys, once Pac beats Hatton ... the commentators are going to ask if Hatton who was tougher PBF or Pac ... and he's going to say something like "Pacquiao is very very fast and he hits very very hard ... I didn't expect it ... PBF was more skilled, but Pacquiao is just as fast if not faster" Ricky can you see Pacquiao challenging Floyd? ... "yes"
I really dont see speed being the factor in this fight. Hatton is the naturally bigger man & will get in close & nullify his speed. Pac doesn't fight at close range, he prefers to fight at mid range. Pac will bet bulled around the ring. As for predicting what will be said afterwards.:rofl
